Yes, it’s not her fault but she is working representing the company. It is common courtesy. I don’t want her to bow down to me and beg for mercy but saying sorry for the inconvenience is the very basic human courtesy in this situation.
My dad flies to London frequently on Delta Airlines and he always comes back with complimentary bags from the airline that include earplugs, earbuds, eye masks, and a little toothbrush/toothpaste set. I have flown Korean Air numerous times. They are by far the best / my favorite. They have always been polite, and the attendants are not wider than the aisle, so you can pass by them. I get really awful airplane sickness - gets worse when I’m running on low sleep (usually for flights hm!). On my flight to Beijing, I threw up so many times in the airport bathroom because of my motion sickness it became dry heaving with nothing coming out and barely managed to hobble onto the plane. When a flight attendant saw me, she asked if I was ok, to which I barely could sputter that I just have bad airsickness and need to sleep it off. The flight was actually rather empty that day and she actually cleared out the entire back middle row for me so I could lie down properly and gave me 6 barf bags in case I needed it. Literally my Angel. On my way back from China, we landed in San Francisco and looked a little sick on the way into check in, and the United airlines flight attendant PICKED ME OUT and said I had to leave when I finally sat down. I asked why, already nauseous, complimentary barf bag in hand, and she just said you look sick and you need to get off the flight. Pretty sure it was a racial profile since we just came back from China (8 years before Covid btw guys). I explained that I just get really airsick, it’s consistent and it’d only get worse if I wasn’t stable. She went out of her way to talk to the pilot to kick me off the plane. At least they put me on the next flight over but jfc. The difference in service is truly unbelievable.
Why aren´t you taking any medications against it, there is some pretty strong prescription stuff for that?. Also, I totally understand the flight attendant who wanted you out of the airplane: imagine, you will loose your consciousness because your body fails you?. There was recently a case on a Lufthansa flight where a passengener started vomiting blood and dying. It is also extremely unpleasnt for other passengers seeing another person getting sick on the airplane and it will ruin their flight as well. I get motion sickness too and have developed a good method to handle it over the years. In your case, it sounds more like you should avoid flying altogether.

Mean while arab airlines: *gives you a bag with alot of stuff* if its a long flight they give you a blanket and pillow
“lol”
In the west, it really depends on who you’re flying with. Some airlines are really nice, with well trained staff. With some airlines, you just hope that you make it to your destination in one piece.
Spirit airlines:
For earplugs we recommend the wad of gum left by the previous occupant of your very hard seat.
I flew with TUI once and they asked for ear plugs and when I took them they said "that will be £6" my jaw dropped I thought all airlines gave them out for free
not if you are flying with the cheapest airline sis
@@Sarah-kc3fb well what cheap airlines do you suggets i take for a holiday i didnt even book ????
@@taylorvlogs6310 Budget airlines can offer low ticket prices because they have low profit margins and sell high volume, and giving away anything on top of the seat you sit in means they don't make money (and if they go bust, no cheap flights for you either)! Expecting free crap from budget airlines is like going to a hostel and demanding free spa, breakfast, and a lovely private bathroom!
Utterly baffled at the apparent entitlement throughout this comment section; or worse, the complete lack of common sense. Even 12-year-olds should be able to deduce the self-explanatory name of the business model, or at the very least read up Google search's synopsis of its Wikipedia page!

@@taylorvlogs6310I mean if you're flying for free because you didn't book the flight then why are you even complaining, next time just pack some earplugs in your hand luggage 😂
This is so accurate. Once I board German airlines my whole row’s entertainment units didn’t work for a 13 hours flight and the stewardess didn’t even say sorry, just basically told us to deal with it. The USB plug to charge our phone wasn’t even working either to top it off the person in front of me was sleeping with their seat reclined when they handed out food I asked the stewardess to please ask the person in front of me to straighten his seat a bit during meal time and she told me that they’re not allowed to wake up passengers 🤣 had to eat my meal with my table pressed against my chest it was so ridiculous can’t even be mad.
why does she have to say sorry? as if it was her fault..
@@uri1197 because there she is representing the airline?
@@uri1197have you ever worked in a customer service job? That’s basically it
Yes, it’s not her fault but she is working representing the company. It is common courtesy. I don’t want her to bow down to me and beg for mercy but saying sorry for the inconvenience is the very basic human courtesy in this situation.
OK, you could've asked the person in front of you yourself tho, is it such big a deal?
My dad flies to London frequently on Delta Airlines and he always comes back with complimentary bags from the airline that include earplugs, earbuds, eye masks, and a little toothbrush/toothpaste set. They give them out on each flight so if he takes a round trip with one stopover each way, he comes back with 4 bags.
Idk about other airlines because he refuses to fly anything that isn't Delta.
I take those bags from Delta as well! 😂
Delta is the best American airline, has been for 20 some years. They had a good team-up with McKinsey back then. They always saw around corners. Definitely fly Delta if you can. I used to live in the air.
@@dylanthomas12321but Delta is in the wrong airline alliance I are a member of Star Alliance and they are working with UA🤦♀️
Your dad flies business class, that’s why he gets complimentary bags. NOT in economy class. Service in business class is almost always very good, but NOT always in economy class.
@@forbeginnersandbeyond6089 You could be right. He pays for "Comfort+ " seats, so idk if that's economy or business.
Western airlines: That would be $2.5 + Convenience fees
Yeah i highly like the asian airlines. They are very polite and accomodating.
I have flown Korean Air numerous times. They are by far the best / my favorite. They have always been polite, and the attendants are not wider than the aisle, so you can pass by them.
Switch mid trip to an American airline, and some not all act like they are doing us a favor, plus talk about bouncing the carts off the aisle seats. Make sure your hand or arm is not on the edge. You will go home missing flesh and like it.

You should try Klm or Air France, from my experience they are fantastic
Lufthansa and Swiss are better
Air France is terrible!!! Air hostesses are grumpy and not friendly. One of the worst flight I’ve been on was with them. The hostess acted terrible with a poor old Vietnamese man sitting in front of me. She full on scolded him for no reasons a few times. I’m half French by the way and French is my 1st language. I understood everything she was saying and she just had something against him for no apparent reason. Poor man was so confused.
I had many trips with Air France and most of the times they are never very pleasant.
@@SweeetSpicemy client just experienced AF cancelling her flight without prior notice! She arrived to the airport and found out! And it was a long haul flight from Paris to Bangkok!
I typically fly with Ethiopian airlines and while we didn't have earplugs, we sometimes got earmuffs on very long flights (more than 5 hours long). And you can always ask for blankets and sleeping mask when necessary.
Yeh but you can fit 4 Ethiopians to a seat so the airlines save so much money that they don’t even worry about the small things
@@goldyguns9545 I'm guessing that was a joke but it doesn't work because no airline in the world is trying to save money by giving away free seats. lol

Dude Qatar airways is like “may I give you a free cocktail? no? are you sure?”
You forgot it’s an 80 year old woman for western airlines. That’s been through 4 layoffs and hates the company.
Bro no hate to anyone but almost all of Asian airline flight attendants are so god dam gorgeous. I’ve been to Indian airlines, Chinese and Korean and all of them are really pretty, tall, and very fit.
And then I go to the one in America.
Selective/competitive hiring
And? Should American airlines hire only female flight attendants after plastic surgeries to please you visually?
@@AAA-kr7nh uhm I never said that 😂🤣 it’s just said that a flight attendant job is selective hiring because of the overpopulation in those countries. Average American getting offended at everything.

In general customer service between the 2 comparisons are incomparable. I grew up in the Philippines, worked in the hospitality industry under Marriott brand. When I moved to the US and worked here in the same industry . I vividly could tell the difference. We Asians are just hospitable, gracious and compassionate. It truly boils down to cultural differences, traditions and values.

I flew an Asian airline going Asia, crew was calm, the stewardess knelt down to talk to me instead of bending down. I was surprised at that. They also speak softly. On the way back on a western airline. The crew was telling stories to each other while they were serving food. I’m not talking two people on that one cart but across the other aisle. Talking loud and laughing. 😂😂 The contrast was so much. I cant even get angry with it. I just laughed 😂😂😂
