    My mom was OBSESSED with me having an engine failure when I was in flight school. I told her dozens of times it would never happen. When I got to the Advanced Jet, had one shit out on me on takeoff roll. managed to get it stopped about 250 ft from the end of the runway. Never told her about it after. Did give her a call that night though

    • @jakedunning9995
      @jakedunning9995 5 років тому +2

      OK...so did you break the ocular lens, or the objective lens? You've stated both, and I wouldn't say the optic is "in line" with the stock by any stretch of the imagination....honestly I find this quite unbelievable, especially since I've seen ACOGs go through much more rigorous testing without failure or parts breakage....If this did in fact happen, I can only surmise you had the 1 in 100000 ACOGs that were out of spec and somehow snuck past their very in-depth QC procedures......but hey, what the fuck do I know? Not shit...

    The ta44's 1.5x magnification is awesome. It is not dis orienting in cqb distance unlike a 4x acog. Does anything a red dot can do but does it better. The trijicon tr24 also has a 1.5 setting mark that works better because of the larger objective lense.

    Tritium doesn't become totally useless at 10-15 years. It has a half life of 12.5 years, so at the 25 year mark, you will still have 25% of the glow. Lot lesser than full brightness, but still enough for pitch black darkness. If there's any light, the fiberoptic band can provide additional illumination. This really is the one to have for end of days preparations.

      Depends on how bad your vision is. I've got the RMR06 v2 and a slight astigmatism and it works great as long as I don't look at the dot. Which you are not supposed to be focused on. If I am just focusing on the dot I get minor streaking. Nothing terrible. Same as my Aimpoint T2. Find out how your eyes react to dots first. Also teh Dual Illumation RMR is not good. Don't buy it lol.

    An interesting thing no one is talking about that could be worth a video. No one is talking about how the army choose the delta point pro as there pistol optic. The m17 reddot sight cut could become the new industry standard. Any company wanting to compete with the delta point will have to build for that cut.

    I enlisted for 74D and told my parents I'd never get used for anything revolving around CBRN warfare, that I'd just be doing paperwork and other peoples MOS's. Yeah...

    My mom was worried that I’d run into trouble with easy Asian women. Sure enough, in 1990 I learned what happens when you hook up with two girls from the same bar (The Body Shop) in Olongapo: high-heel puncture wound in my shoulder and a shot of penicillin. Thanks mom!

    "Zero at 5200 yards"...Dimitri is making ridiculous long shots with this.

    (12:43) Only Marines use a 5,200 yard zero. Lol love the reviews, keep them coming.

    It would be appreciated if Trijicon or another company other than Bushnell would make a true 1x etched reticle optic that could be a real replacement for a red dot. That advice at the end though. Edit: Just want to point out that the chevron, and two dots are also ear to ear head width at 3 to 5 hundred yards respectively.

    As a teen my parents told me one day I’d regret not studying harder in Spanish Class during high school.
    Cut scene 2 years later I jumped in OJC with 1/75 and right after PLF I could hear a few Panamanians scurrying around in the darkness taking pock-shots and babbling away…. In Spanish.
    I had no idea what they were saying.

    A lcpl on the KD range broke his acog in half...yes in half..he swears he just dropped it. ...but wait there’s more. He proceeded to just take it off and throw it away without telling a soul. We get to the armory and wouldn’t you guess it, an optic is missing. So once we proceed to basically beat the info out of him. We have to go back to the range and dig through the dumpster till we find it.

    I bought this optic when it first came out.Main reason being of my astigatism.i really like it.The extra magnification doesnt really bother me, and acss really gives you alot of capabilities.if you have astigatism its definetley worth the money if you dont want a low powered variable optic.
