i am having surgery in springfield il with dr ma. i am a bilateral amputee. i lost both legs as a baby. a knee and r side hip disarticulation. im having subacromial decompression and distal clavical ressection for ac joint and a full rotator cuff repair. worst being the subscapularus 90 percent torn. with muscle tears. the other parts of rotator cuff are all 75 percent torn. also my labrum is torn again. would you repair like a normal repair or the way i use my arms for everything would you do some kind of more beefed up repair? curious and worried normal repair wont hold up. please any info would be awesome. im a big musccular guy. 185 lb with no legs.

Could you make some videos about arthroscopic subscapularis repair technique and other shoulder arthroscopy issues to instruct young , less experience orthopaedic surgeons ? Thank you so much.

The videos are really geared towards patient education, which is why they are leaving you wanting more!
In general, for subscaps, the key is to open up the interval, use a 70 degree scope from the back, make sure your assistant really gets the feel for performing a posterior lever, and I like using some sort of self retrieving penetrator such as an Arthrex FastPass Scorpion to retrieve the passing stitches in an otherwise tight working space.
For my really retracted subscaps associated with tears up top, I've sometimes found it better to go up top and free up the supra/infra first as sometimes traction from the comma is holding you back.
      Hope that helps!
