Great job ! Excellent vocoder sound ! Do you manage to have this result (vocoder sound) only with the Boss VO-1 vocoder pedal ? I mean, if I plug this pedal into a midi keyboard, with the correct VST, I could get the same rendering ?
No you're right, I use a lot of effects to enhance the raw output of the VO-1, so yeah it's not only the VO-1. Well now I'm not sure cause this video is part of my first vocoder covers and at the time I did not use too many effects. But I generally fix a few things with effects. Oh and no, you need something that makes a real sound, not a MIDI Keyboard (don't know if I misunderstood), except if you want to play a digital synth with it on a VST and then send the audio signal to the pedal. Anyway, yeah I guess that with the same preset on the pedal and the same post-effects, you would get the same rendering (sorry to answer 9 months later + thanks !)
Is the Boss Vocoder good for Vocoding with Snyths? Or are there any Issues? Im trying ti decide to buy a Vocoding Pedal or a new Vocoder Synthesizer. Need some help 😅
