I loved watching Steve on Blue's Clues with my kids and shamefully I am just getting into his music now thanks to Young Sheldon. Steve is an amazingly talented writer, song writer, actor, singer and on.
He didn't write it, but he did have stuff going on. I haven't read up anything recently but he said with blues clues he was having an identity crisis. Very interesting guy.
Almost nobody in this comment section seems to know TMBG wrote this. TMBG wrote (and ruined) your childhood with how many songs they've made. Their main genre is alternative/indie rock, and a lot of people don't like that genre because it can be so illusive and obsured to the public eye. It's basically taking stuff from previous decades and mashing it with morbid topics like existentialism.

Ugh...should've stayed on Blues Clues. Kinda a hot mess. Voice isn't bad...song is terrible though. Not saying I could do better though. I saw him on Yo Gabba Gabba...song was better.
