My ex's rebound was in a toxic long-term relationship, and probably has emotional problems because of it. Their relationship was set up be her family to help her overcome. My ex is avoidant and a people pleaser who wanted to " see where it goes ". He wanted me to remain as a friend. Hell no. I left, never to return. An avoidant and a victim. SMDH.

I would say it’s a distinct possibility, but I think more research would need to be done to give a definitive answer.
I guess both are cases where someone does not know how to function on their own, or just addicted to the high of the novelty of a new relationship.

If what they say is true, then I think it means they only saw you as an option. Or maybe they said that in the heat of the moment to make the breakup easier.
My ex blocked me everywhere and said to me that now she is happy. I don't know if she really is in a rebound relationship, because she re-engaged after 2 weeks

Hey your videos are very educational and eye opening for me. But I have a request. Can you make a video about how to deal with being the rebound guy. Or maybe you already made one but I didn't find it. You always talk from the perspective of a guy that is left and not from the guy she then rebounds with. Because I am that guy and I want to share my experience.
We met 3 months after she broke up with her ex of 4 years. She is 21 and I am 25. I never had a girlfriend before and never had sex. She on the other hand had sex with 4 guys before me and had 3 boyfriends since the age of 15. We had great connection and chemistry but I was a bit shy and reserved so she made the first move and showed me that she finds me attractive and wants to spend more time with me. After 2 weeks of dating we already had sex which was a bit fast now that I look back. I could see that she has past traumas and she was talking about her ex all the time. Comparing us, how much better I am then him. It felt good to be better, but that was just what she told me. What she didn't tell me were all the comparisons she made in which he is better. Like sex, being romantic, making her feel wanted... Then after 3 months of us being together she told me one night right after sex that she doesn't feel the attraction anymore. That sex is not how it should be, not erotic enough, that my life is monotonous, that I work too much, that it was fun getting to know me but now there is nothing new... but that she still wants to be with me because she actually doesn't lack anything. I said fine, we can work this out. Next week she was avoiding my touches and intimacy, she was annoyed at anything that I did Then she told me that sometimes she wishes that she could still be with her ex if he changed. And asked me if I would still go to greece with her even if we were not together anymore by that time. And that we were not together anyway and were just casually dating. I was very confused and it hurt my feelings. I realised that she doesn't want me anymore. But at that time I didn't know about the rebound concept. So I broke up with her the next day. That was 2 months ago. Now I realised that I made a mistake. It was not my place to brake up with her. I should have waited a bit longer and eventually she would brake up with me. Then it wouldn't be me that feels the guilt but her. Now after two months I still haven't completely moved on. I tried talking to her about it but she always makes me feel like I am now trash to her. I wasn't able to do the no contact, my feelings always get to me
It 100% your place to breakup with her because she was using you to get over her ex. Your instincts were spot on and you loved yourself enough to walk away.
When someone always talks about their ex, compares you, says it not good enough, don’t waste your time competing. Give her the gift of your silence.

@@TheLoveFix-Nick Thanks mate, yeah I do feel better but she is still on my mind. Sometimes more and sometimes less. I'm trying to talk to and meet new girls to hopefully meet someone that actually wants me in their life but I'm also afraid that then I'll hurt them like my ex hurt me. I'm also working on myself like I always did, I'm fit, have my own bussines, hobbies and people I hang out with but something just isn't right now that I got a taste of having a woman in my life. Before that I was satisfied but now not so much anymore. Ignorance is bliss they say 😄 Thank you again for your videos and lesons. If I saw them sooner I could avoid this mess alltogether by recognising the red flags. They don't teach this stuff in school but maybe they should
