Trying to pace myself and not buy any more watches that I don't really like just because I'm bored....
It’s good to slow down. Sometimes it is easy to get caught up with the next purchase.
You're absolutely right. 99% of these most known Ali watches use like 4 cases over and over again and all they really change is the dial and hands (with often very questionable choices there).
At this point I'd rather keep the money and buy one interesting, more expensive watch from some microbrand or one of the big ones, than three or four AliExpress watches that although pretty well made, are extremely uninspiring and frankly just not exciting to own.

It looks great. The last Phylida I owned was so impressive too.
Unfortunately, that last Sea-Gull supercompressor watch is a design they stole from a microbrand that approached Sea-Gull Tianjin to produce that model as its OEM factory. The original 2016 version of the Aevig Balaur is incredibly similar, and Sea-Gull didn't produce a compressor-style watch before Aevig submitted the Balaur design for a bid.
As for the Flieger watches, Addiesdive and Tandorio sell similar models in the $40 to $50 price ranges during major sales. My Addiesdive Flieger "A" has an NH35a, sapphire crystal, good lume, and 200m WR. As a tool watch, the finishing is pretty good, but the bracelet is just OK (way better than a Casio Duro).
That is disappointing. I had not seen it before.

The sugges and the 1921 have been on my wish list forever. Haven’t pulled the trigger as I pretty much never wear watches on leather and the one I do have although I love it has not been worn yet

Hi James. Love the list, I actually have the Tandario in my cart as we speak. I am a sucker for texured dials, pebble, sand dune etc. I like the seagull, but too big for me. All told, a great list of affordable watches...my favorite kind.

The SH watch reminds you of Zenith or Christopher Ward? Does it maybe also remind you of the Tissot PRX? I can see the Christopher Ward in the hour hand, but the case looks like PRX to me. And all sapphire crystals in watches are synthetic.
Some of these integrated cases seem to look very similar to each other.
I think it’s the hour hand on that one that makes me think CW
Seagull has long been quite expensive, but they seem to have a lower priced catalogue as well now.
I’ve noticed the same thing.
It's dual crown, not duel. Also all sapphire crystals are synthetic (manufactured) or they'd cost thousands.
