Shane Foley I hate it how people also mentions INSTANT RAMEN = INSTANT NOODLES. Ramen is a type of noodle and there are other varieties of noodles outside

      There's a difference between the 2.
Haven't these people heard of things like instant yakisoba or SHIN ramen.
Also, look at that scene form Ponyo.

Pho is likely to be lighter than ramen, like it's not too much going on, just the noodle, the broth and a simple meat like beef or chicken, maybe some lime juice or a piece of red chili. So pho it is

Pretty easy if you have a specific palette. I will take savory/umami over sweet/tangy so that rules out most Thai food.
    1) Vietnamese Coffee
    2) Kimchi Fried Rice
    3) Ramen (this was a difficult one)
    4) Indian Curry
    5) Chow Mein
    6) Biryani (another difficult one)
    7) Halo Halo

I would have to go with pho over ramen. ramen is great but tends to be on the heavier side, you can really taste the sodium in ramen. pho is lighter and you can have it anytime of the day. both are perfect for hangovers :0 )

      @thevannmann 6 років тому +2

Effy Cook You may not like Vietnamese food but I question if you truly understand what “bland” means lol. Vietnamese food is all about balancing flavours, textures and colours. A typical combo bowl of phở contains several textures, several colours and a range of flavours. Bland would be something like spaghetti and meatballs. In saying that I would eat bún bò Huế instead of ramen or phở.

Girl on the left got Thai palette obviously lol. Between Ramen and Pho, I love them both, but if I could pick one to eat every freaking day, has to be Pho, Pho doesnt get boring Ramen does. Pho also has better aroma to me and will digest better than Ramen. Between Sticky Rice Mango and Halo, thats a hard one, but again it comes down to what can you eat everyday, and I would go with Halo Halo, I cant see myself eating sticky rice mango everyday man lol. The Curry one is really hard though haha.

    1. Thai Iced Tea - I don't like coffee...
    2. Thai Fried Rice - but Kimchi Fried Rice...if it made at the end of Korean BBQ where they take the leftover banchan and a little more kimchi...
    3. Ramen - I feel like there is more versatility with this
    4. Japanese Curry - Only because I never had Indian curry...
    5. Pad Thai - I like the cirtus, especially if it served with finger limes...
    6. Bibimbap - MUST be served in the hot stone bowl, Dolsot Bibimbap, for the crispy bottom
    7. Halo-Halo - Ssssooooo many toppings...its like a Filipino sundae...

0:47 Unrelated but Jennifer had a pretty good pronunciation of Kimchi, particularly Kim.
Most Americans say the Kim in Kimchi the way they'd say Kim in Kim Kardashian, but she said it how Koreans do, which sounds more similar to Keem Chi.
    Great pronunciation!
