Thank you Scott for this great review...I love the demo song that you wrote here and of course as expected the mix is top notch...Really very well balanced and huge...You explained in the best way the most crucial aspects of this Drum Library and your work is at the next level...A huge thanks my friend🔥🔥🔥
Happy Yule! Love these mix breakdown vids you do. It's a quick refresher course of everything I have learned from your courses. Makes me think back to my mixes if I was doing the fundamentals.
Scott, absolutely love your channel and everything you've put out that I have seen. caught this one this morning, Merry Christmas by the way, those drums sound terrific. they're absolutely natural acoustic sounding. too many of the drum programs these days try too hard to prove they can be louder more compressed more EQ etc. sadly all of us use these MIDI drums and once we get into the mixing phase, we start to realize the drums don't sound as natural anymore, due to using a heavy hand with parallel compression and EQ. I'd give anything to go back and remix my drums and fly them into the overall mix later in the bounces, so that they are as bright and natural sounding as this.
@ChernobylAudio666 agreed. I'm so sick of the whole " thall " sound. Oldeholm audio just dropped a drum library. Just not interested. To me it sounds pretty close to the molnir drum kit.
sounds good. personally, a few years ago I listened to all the out of box sounds of drums. And based my purchase on the closest thing to what was in my head... and for me it was Perfect Drums, funny because it's older, but it just has massive character, like you say about this snare. And I agree. I like the full bodied low end snare for my BM stuff, and a smaller popier, ringy-er one for the heavy genres (frees up low mids for bass and guitar!)
It’s funny that you mention the low snare ultra clipped thing…. I’ve heard a couple mixes from bands I love recently that have been doing that and that sound has been ruining those songs for me.
You are the most cool. Cooler than cool. The embodiment of trve kvlt. The gods have sent you to us to provide us with the divine source of ear drum brutality.

These drums sound good. Love that snare. Thanks for the great video Scott.
That tutorial alone was worth the watch 👌
Good job Scott and once again kicking ass with great riffing 🤘
Damn, this sounds tight. And thanks for showing the simplicity of the mix. Good Yule Scott!
Sounds great! Merry Christmas Scott!
This is sick
Yes it is!
Killer demo song! Great tones as well

Merry Christmas, thank you for this video !
Enjoy! 🤘
I love high tuned ringy snares.
My God that snare
It's SO good man, it's a great contrast to all the low-tuned snare stuff happening over the last few years!

I'll say Merry Christmas on my birthday...lol

3:26 (You're welcome! 😅)
Haha, damn, that is a funny timestamp.... LOL

🤣🤣🤣
One of my favourite snare tones is Dave Lombardo's piccolo snare on the South of Heaven album. Killer, cracking tone
