- Today I decided to go back to McDonalds and try the Chicken Big Mac again, it's been 4 years since I had this burger, so let's see it it's still as good as what I remembered when I give it a Review!

Hey Grego, the chicken on this is actually a tempura chicken, we still have the regular McChicken patties but they are only used for the McChicken and Chicken n Cheese burgers. The tempura patties are smaller than the standard chicken patties, there isn’t a major difference but yeah the tempura ones are chewier. I actually had the Chicken Big Mac after my shift last night and it was great, I prefer it to the regular Big Macs myself.

The Big Mac has onions, and yet this burger is missing the onions. No mention of this missing from the ingredients or burger.

I got a McChicken the other day Grego. It was tiny. Fair dinkum, it used to be a good size burger, now the size of a cheeseburger.

i loved these, they were actually better value than the double mcchicken because you got way more on the burger for like 60c less
I just read they're bringing this sandwich to the states, can't wait to try it.
Two things I've never liked about McDonald's burgers: I hate raw onion on a burger and I hate pickles on a burger. Old-fashioned Aussie hamburgers, (I mean the classic ones from when I was a kid, not the uber-trendy Instagrammable burgers we see in the "fashionable" places), always have caramelised onions, and they never have pickles. McDonald's burgers can't come within coo-ee of the good old-fashioned plain hamburger from the good old Greek corner shop, beef patty seared to within an inch of its life, fried onions, tomato or barbecue sauce, lettuce and a slice of tomato, (later versions also came with a slice of beetroot), and they're impossible to beat.
The star of today’s show was definitely the $1 cheeseburger ‘ey GregO…. One tiny pickle, have heard that plenty of times… Might have to try oner these on your recommendation and have heard that sauce pairs well with foul but will definitely be discarding that centre bun. Cheers Gibbo

Well it's not inflation Grego! It's what happens when you have a "pandemic" that most people will survive with their own immunities....a job market where many would rather get unemployment than work, and a $15 starting wage for an entry-level job!

I work at McDonald's and we don't sell Chicken Big Mac probably because I am in the US but when I get off of work I order it but with the 2 McChickens on it. I ranked 10/10

I tried a chicken Big Mac over Xmas and didn’t love it. I think a Big Mac needs the beef for the extra flavour.
I wonder if they're using the same chicken used for the McChicken sandwich.
Needs cheese on top layer too but looks pretty good overall!

I went to Mc Rip offs the other day to get my usual plain hamburgers usually not much different to their cheese burgers and in price? and used to be only $1.50. I knew it went up to $2 ( after 5 months of not having them) but blew me away when the dude at the counter said it's now $3.30?? not happy Jan. Plus cold, cold large fries and cold McNuggets.
They're still $2 where I live.

Maccas prices are just fucking rediculous.. the trade off used to be hey well at least it's not that expensive.. now you get a meal deal and it's like 13 bucks.. they're just not worth it anymore value wise

About 20 years ago Burger King did a Chicken Whopper with grilled chicken and I really liked that sandwich a lot. I have not seen this Chicken Big Mac, but I have not been to McDonald's for a while I guess.

I think McDonalds aim is to keep shrinking the burgers so eventually you'll buy 2. The price won't shrink though!

Eyyy, used to get 'em to make these about a decade back. But since they were taking the beef patties out and adding chicken ones it was way more expensive than these haha.
Ya still gotta head up to bribie Island Grego and try the saviges seafood cod and chips haha. Looking forward to the day ya get up there mate. Maybe bring ya rod and do abit of fishing before hand also get some tarte sauce 😁
Greg you should add up the total views you've had on every McDonalds review you've ever uploaded and contact Mcdonalds and tell them the numbers you've done for them and see what happens. Someone high up at state office? Free stuff coming your way mate ;-)

McDonald's all around the world has declined in quality and portion sizes .....The fries are mostly cold! I really don't like how they pull the proteins (meat out of a drawer). ------the chicken looks to be chopped, bleached then glued back together so the patty resembles white chicken breast meat, in my opinion!
