- Armed with duel clawshots, you must defeat this airborn menace in order to complete the 'City In The Sky' dungeon, in Twilight Princess for Nintendo Wii. This is a fun boss battle and as you will see, isn't too much of a pain to pull off.
Argorok was honestly my favorite boss to fight. The music, the panic of trying to hook shot in the right place, the satisfaction of smacking the shit out of him and watching his armor crumble to pieces off of him, the atmosphere. It was all perfectly synchronized in a way that made me feel alive while fighting him.
Him and Stallord
I love the music whenever link starts winning! It makes me swing my remote like crazy!
Am I the only one who's noticed that Zelda boss names make great heavy metal band names?
This is one of my favorite fights! Next to Stallord and Blizzeta, this one is awesome!
Indeed. Lots of love for this battle in particular over recent weeks. I think people are really impressed with this one in hindsight.
This fight was awesome!
yes it was! well said my man!
i want to play this now. shouldn't have traded it in!
Besides the final encounter with Ganondorf, this is by far my favorite boss battle. Thanks for the upload, great quality!
When it rains, you know something epic is happening. Thanks for uploading one of the best fights in the game!
i really love this boss battle and i have this game and its a really fun game and i beated this game already and i still play this game sometimes and i like link and the clawshot your videos are the best and really great.
There should've been more dragons for Link to slay, those fights are epic
Agreed!!
Jackson Elmore Especially with that chance music. Perfect striking song.
***** Gonna be uploading a lot of Hyrule Warriors in time here now that I have the latest and greatest video editing hardware and room again.Hyrule Warriors is presently top #2 most value trade in at GameStop. They'll pay almost $30 for someone to make the mistake of giving it away. That's what the data tells us - people who buy it, aren't letting go! KILLER soundtrack too.
Jackson Elmore He become the dragon born.
4:50 that music is so amazing, that i never want to hurt the boss to keep it going. but then the dang boss either shakes me off or just recovers
I didn't get the chance to appreciate the graphics and the scene while playing as my heart was racing in the heat of the battle. Plus I kept getting blasted out of the sky thanks to Link who couldn't move fast enough. Thanks for posting this as I get to relive the moment without having to play it over again.
I freaking LOVED this boss. Just the music and the pouring rain and the howling wind . . . awesome.
Awsome fight! Do you think I should get this game? It looks pretty good. Btw, did you go for the finisher? I couldn't tell, too much action!!!
Aaahhhhh, favorite place and favorite boss of the game, hands down.
@glidershower
The scenery and the music in the second part of the fight makes this battle epic!!!!
If only we got to experience this awesomeness for longer.
I'm playing this game for the 1st time and I recently beat this boss. God! I was so afraid to fall over but I did it! It was so awesome and excited.
The lighting on that boss fight was awesome.
I love how at 3:24 he's like, "Oh, you want to fight me without my armor? Well, SCREW this armor!" *blasts armor off* Then flying plants for you to grapple onto conveniently decide to sprout up just at that moment. ^^ "The hell? Where'd these come from? Oh well, they're just flying plants... Hey, where'd that green guy g- OH SHIT!"
That's not a dragon, it's a wyvern!
I love this battle. It's by far the most epic battle in Twilight Princess (c'mon it's a freakin dragon! xD) Some things I'd fix to make this an actual challenge: Be a lot more aggressive, have MUCH faster attacks, and have it ACTUALLY aim. I think it'd be nice if it tired to carry off when you were on the ground and to free yourself you'd have to make it crash by using the iron boots. That would've been more fun than just continuously climbing towers -__-
I love when you get on the back of the fucker and just slash away, shaking the wiimote like a lunatic. One of the most epic moments in the whole game.
Awesome descriptions, Invokke. So right! :)
This was a great battle
I love when the thunderstorm starts and all the peahats start to rise up from the ground.
Lululul. I thought Link was still on the dragon when it died. O U clever Link, you. ;D
i love how this is a classic swordsman vs. the dragon kind of battle and there's thunderstorms.
Malefic dragon: Argorok. i love it!!!!
I feel so old dude
Yeah, we're old! Thanks for being here!
I love in this game how Link is..he isn't scared of the enemies but instead he's brutal when defeating them.
I see a lot of comments about how little Link can't weight down a big dragon like Argorok, but I think we're all missing another big factor. When Link finished off Argorok and he flies upward, how does Link end up at the bottom before Argorok does?
Ah, I just love it when you ride the dragon downwards after hitting it several times. Just goes to show how epic Link is.
haha 3:25 hes just like 'screw the armour, i'll take you on nude dragon style'>:)
This is definitely one of my favs. It was too easy though. Actually, that goes for all of the bosses in this game. The temples were harder! Still a great boss though. Love the scenery!
How would that be when introuducing:
"Gracious, i will eat you!" xD
when you grab onto his tail he's "hey hey. you punk. let go of my tail. that hurts. let go. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (plummets to the ground)." funny stuff.
Wow, this is so... grand! Good thing Link isn't afraid of heights.
@warloxwill
what about the plant? and the Gohma boss?they died too, i can't remember their exact names, oh even Morpheel died
This is one of the coolest Zelda boss fights. Ever.
Man, I have only played one Zelda game (Twilight Princess) and it was awesome! It is my favorite game, and I enjoy the puzzles. I just beat the Cave of Ordeals on my 6th or 7th try. I absolutely love this game, even the frusterating parts. (I hope I spelled that right)
indeed, a new legend has born in Hyrule about the hero that fight against the giant Dragon Argorok in the highest point in Hyrule
@RowdyLikeAClassroom Whats wrong with the wii anyway? the graphics??
A tip: To avoid being blown out of alignment by the wind, equip the iron boots when on the ground. :D
i love the theme when your attacking the dragons weakspot
This looks like it would be fun as hell in real life *o*
I love how almost every boss fight in this game has two parts
love fighting this boss but what kind of dragon has a cage for a tail?
the ambience of this game is so chilling and awesome. on a different note, if i were link i would simply refuse to fight this boss given my fear of heights
U know when u deliver the final blow to argorok right? ur still on its back when you hit it,look at 7:36 if u wanna know what I mean, but when it goes to the scene when it tries to fly away at 7:40 links already on the ground. How did link get alll the way down from the sky with ease? They never showed link jump off argorok and if he did he'd alteast be dead or get hurt really bad from jumping that high.
@mystic23432 Looks like Meta Ridley with.... goat horns?
How awesome is it that the music gets super fast and intenense when you fiinnaly have the chance to hit the boss with your sword?
favourite boss in this game by far
that isnt true, both games can be a total pain if you don't know them well. I'd love to see videos of you guys the first time you did the Water Temple :D
i loved this fight it was epic :D
do you know how much cost a wii mote and nunchunk
,cause i will buy a wii next month
Link+Two Hookshots=Your new Green Friendly Forest Neighborhood Ass-Kicking Spiderman Hero. =)
best zelda boss battle ever. hands down. I always play tp just to get up to this moment
Especially after the second time he's brought down. He already lost some armor by then. Good point.
Epic. Coolest boss in the game.
That's an epic fight!
He's on top of a giant tower. FLOATING in the fucking sky. Fighting a giant, Fire-breathing dragon, with gusts of wind probably up to 50mph around him. Where the fuck would Link be without the Triforce of Courage?
Oh right, still kicking ass
I remember trying to compete with this guy in cutting the grass.
Good times...
I want some of those toys. It would be so cool to use duel claw shots everywhere
It's like the dragon doesn't even try. I think he's depressed.
i loved this fight
How does link walk... with iron boots, a gigantic medieval flail, up to 115 bombs, a metal spinner, a lantern, a boomerang, 2 clawshots, a slingshot and pellets, lots and lots of filled bottles, a metal shield, a wooden shield, the master sword, an ordon sword, 2 sets of clothing, one set of armor, a magical rod, a bow with up to (80)? arrows, 3 books, a bug collection, and sometimes while holding really heavy things?
Because you're adding even more weight pulling it down?
This boss is awesome. Hey if you think about it, the first half of way you beat this boss is similar to the way you beat the first boss in Wind Waker.
@Arexeum i love his grunts! He doesn't grunt ENOUGH in my opinion :)
This was my favorite dungeon in the game. It was long, but it wasn't a pain like the Temple of Time. The boss battle made it better.
such an epic boss really cool
Imagine what this boss would have been like inside the twilight. All black with magical markings on its wings, also i can see Zant riding it around.
@Kohannachan Lol, did you know that if you put on the iron boots right before ou finish ganondorf, Link will be running with them in the final cutscenes XD
Awesome boss. Even if they were easy to beat, they were pretty rad. Hope they do this good if not better in Skyward Sword.
I know. What the hell is it with water temples that they have to make it so hard.
I mean have you ever tried the one in majora's mask?
Here at the Sky Temple.
I like how at 3:07 when the crystal thingy pulses.. You could also here the second half playing when it pulses
epic. in 1 word:just epic.
Link: Where's the boss....?
Argorok: RRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!
Link: ZOMG! Don't do that man!
Argorok: Oh man I am SOOO soory!
Link: It's okay.....
Argorok: So we cool?
Link: Yea.......I know it was just I was freaked ou-
Argorok: ROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!
Link: WTF MAN!
Argorok: I'm sorry it's my nature!
Link: It's my nature THIS! *stabs*
Argorok: OW! Dude that hurt!
Link: Sorry we cool?
Argorok: Yea.....
*they both hug*
8:15 Link :wow Argorok you ate too much spicy stuff
Midna: shut up!!grab that mirror piece and let's get out of here
Gotta say this boss is badass in his metal suit
I really wonder what the design teams think when they make bosses like these:
Hey, I got an idea, lets have a boss where there are a series of walls that you have to spider man up to, and the on onto floating plants in a circle, which you then mount a dragon to stab in the back multiple times.
This game was amazing, but it felt kind of empty. I still love it though.
this temple is the most unqiue and best created style, imagine a temple in the sky!
I never played this game, but from 0:35 to 1:15, this is Shadow of the Colossus!!!! Totally ripped of
The temple was tough to get through, but getting the double claw shot was worth it in my opinion.
Can you help me? I know how to beat the dragon and all but i can't unlock when i have locked on the plant things...IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!
City in the Sky and Arbiter Grounds were the best dungeons I've played in any Zelda. Both instances were fun, challenging to a point, and had amazing boss fights. Still haven't beaten this game yet. Need to kill Ganondorf now. Haven't used a walkthrough in any dungeon yet.
one of my favs!!!!!
i know what to do, its just that everytime I get behind the Dragon I can't aim right my clawshot keeps wanting to target the peahats. pls. help
thanks
@SA2BchaoCareTaker D< *Gets eight flyswatters* Goodbye, baby.
What an epic boss battle. Twilight Princess's equivalent to Ocarina of Time's Volvagia, perhaps, only even more extreme? Looks cool, though I personally didn't like the music that signified the end of the battle.
@AdmiralBobbery123 You kiddin, dude? This is the ONLY boss, of all the Zelda games i played, that felt like Link was intended to be: a knight.
I admit the double hookshot thing was a little of a let down, as i had wished to slay it with only the sword and shield, but other than that, this fight is great! :D
How can a weight of Link and a iron boat pull a heavy metal armor dragon and dragon itself on the ground?
your clawshots sound kinda funny
Why cant i remember this boss?! I gotta go play this game now!!! ON WII!!! :D
The best boss fight in all of zelda games! (in my opinion so far)
Hey guys! I need help with this boss! REEEALLY BADLY. When you're targeting from plant to plant, I get behind Argorok fine. But I cant seem to stop targeting the next plant and target his back, which is why i've been having to do this manually which is a lot harder. So can you help me figure out how to STOP targeting the next plant while behind this boss? THANKS!
how exactly does he hurt you?
apart from fire i mean.
