I might be a little prejudice, given that this is my favorite game in the series and I think everything about it is epic, but still. Some interesting trivia about Argorok. On the snout of it's armor, a Triforce emblem can be seen. Also, if you remember back in The Wind Waker, the first phase of the Argorok battle mimics the first phase of the battle with Gohma in Dragon Roost Cavern.
Just a tip if you're using the Game Cube: If you're having trouble locking onto Argorok's back, move down from the peahat while locking on and off and you'll eventually stop locking onto the peahats, then you can lock onto his back manually.

I didn't say I hated the Dragon. It was the most challenging boss in the game, when I first played it. It's just I have hard feelings towards the dungeon because it was a bit hard for me.
Why was this boss hard for you? The first time I beat this game when I was 16 years old, it only took me about like, 1 hour, and 35 minutes to beat this flying freak, and it was no challenge at all. But the only boss that proved itself to be difficult in this game, so far, was Twilit Aquatic, Morpheel, which I only lost 1 heart, but still emerged victorious, and didn't give up.
I fought that dragon, and found out that you don't have to knock it in the head with the claw shot on the second or third take down on the armor, just latch on to the tail and equip the iron boots while latched on the dragon's tail and the dragon will be taken down with ease... if you already know this, GREAT!! X-) lol
I realized that this boss battle remind me of fighting Ghoma(sp?) and the Helm Rock King(sp?) in TWW. It's like a combination of both. Except you have to use the claw shot the most in TP. The sad part in fighting the Helm Rock King was that you don't have the iron boots to prevent you from flying into the spiked walls and I have to roll to avoid. The claw shot is like a hook shot and a grappling hook together. :| Nintendo, you and your ideas of items to use in the game with returning items. :p

I seem to be having a lot of trouble with Link turning around on me and grabbing on to the peahats on each side, so I a flying into the fire everytime. Do you have any hints on the controls?
I think my mom was getting annoyed because the music and clawshot sounds were pretty obnoxious, but I was kind of on a roll and didn't want to thrn it down any lower because I needed to hear the growl b4 it shot fire so I could time it right, andthis battle took me like half an hour xD
This is utterly ef fing ridiculous. I have gotten this far so I am not useless, but I can't see me getting past this. All you people who think this boss is awesome are sick. Help me!

Argorok... sounds like Ragnarok, the demon sword from Soul Eater... acts the same way too- without the screaming resonance... after all, Ragnarok is the Black Dragon of Soul Eater :P it makes sense in a way. But at the same time, it doesnt... confusing ik.
It's Gandalf and the Demon was called a Balrog, which was created by Melkor/Morgoth who used to have an entire army of Balrogs. (Sorry I'm such a nerd.)

isnt this just an epic battle? knight in green vs dragon LOVE THIS BATTLE infact all knights who wouldve fought dragons went as brave as link they would be in forces of 10-15 men with full armor spears arrows and shields link is in a cloth tunic easily flamible and he has to climb up grating to claw shot to peahats to get behind it while avoiding fire breath NO KNIGHT has the right to call link a newb link has all right to call them newbs

Everyone always said this boss was really hard but I beat it first try when I was nine. Maybe I was just lucky.

I really hated the City in the Sky. It was the most awkard, and hard dungeon, and then it had a ridiculous boss at the end.

You can actually do his first phase much faster by just clawshoting to the top of the pillars and grabbing his tail when he flies up in the flair.
