    Just cut the old belt off. Yes, you still have to bend the tabs (or preferably slide the pulley down) to get the new one on. Thanks for sharing this vid, I've got to do mine soon.

    I went to 4 different places trying to get a belt for my cub. I ended up and got my belt from Tractor supply 21 dollars and some change + tax. The size of the belt: 1/2 x 78 "V" belt if you don't want to buy the expensive belt that Cub Cadet sells.
    Props on your video! It was more in depth and in line of what I needed to know to replace mine. I was happy that it did not take me as long as I thought it would.

    Thank you very much for the video. Mine drive belt just gave out for the first time. I am so happy to see your video to give me a great confidence to get this done by myself instead paying for couple hundred dollar for the service or to purchase a new one...Have no money for either one of them....Where did you get your belt? Thanks again bro....
