WOW! I am blown away. Thanks for making this video and now I want to work on embedding LEDS in some of my projects.

This tree is awesome. Could you share the Fusion360 files? I'd like to remix it to accept strip WS2812s. I also can't ever get multicolor printing to work. I'll split it and add some kind of boss to keep things aligned for a glue up.

Hi, Can you please share the name or specification of the transparent wire you use to connect led to each other ?
    Many thanks.

I just used some coated copper wire laying around in my workshop. You can use pretty much every thin wire, but this type of copper wire is nice if you want to avoid stripping the wires. It has not to be transparent. Hope that helps.

Thanks! Yes, I am thinking about a version for sale, but needs some time to do some design changes to reach a reasonable price point.

@@makeTVee I love the LED lighting and the size. It would be perfect for my DJ area. If you decide to sell any I would be very interested! Thank you for your time! 😏

This is amazing! Can wi-fi be added so it can be programed remotely?

Yes, in the meantime I already did this with an ESP32 board and WLED. You can change colors/effect via a web interface or app. You can even sync multiple trees.

@@makeTVee Do you have a video or instruction on how to do that?

@@TheOoze777 no, not yet. But it isn't too hard, so if you contact me via Hackaday, printables or Twitter, I will send you some links.

Fantastic design and a challenging buid. I modified the base to incorporate a Web Server and Piezo Electric Speaker. Full construction details and software for the enhancements are at www.hackster.io/john-bradnam/embedded-neopixel-led-christmas-tree-58d676.
