I haven't heard of this game before, so normally I would never watch a playthrough of it, but something about you invokes the comfortable nostalgia of discovering a game through a let's play for me.
Man, Oliver is the kind of UA-camr I've always wanted to watch play these types of games. He's excited about the details/lore as much as I am, maybe even more! Can't wait to watch him play through his backlog. What I want to see him play the most: - SOMA (I think this would give a similar feel to his Outer Wilds playthrough) - Fallout, especially New Vegas - Skyrim - The Forest
oliver, it blows my mind that your channel isn’t bigger than it is. your let’s plays are are all very entertaining and you usually take a unique approach to games that makes even stuff like subnautica (which i have seen like 5 different play throughs of) refreshing to watch. i don’t think i’ve watched this many videos from a single youtuber sequentially since i was in elementary school 😂

Play Dave the Diver when you finish this game since it has a Dredge DLC (I think Dredge also has a Dave DLC) and is similar in theme and super fun too.
i was just browsing by this late at night i had a heart attack from the art on the thumbnail. for a second i thought u playing disco elysium(that would be an fucking insane journey LOL) Dredge is pretty cool too tho
generically, 'tack' is 'that which attaches'. in horse equipment its the straps and buckles that keep everything from slipping, in sailing it was the hook and line that lets you change where the bottom corners of your sail attached (it has more specific modern usage), and in fishing its the lines, lures, hooks, etc attached to the rod. also, i learned that the -le ending on English words like this was used attached to normal words to indicate 'doing continuously'
Hey guys i haven't watched the video, but i have a question for people who've played this game How would you guys rate the spoiler sensitivity of it? I might want to play it someday and I don't know if i should skip this series to avoid spoilers. How much would watching this before playing spoil my experience in a scale of like Tunic to Doom?
The game is best when you play it blind, as you’ll spoil some fun moments and encounters, but the main story is only given in little pieces which all culminate near the ending. So as long as you skip the last few episodes you’ll miss the largest spoilers, but I’d recommend playing it blind first.

Interesting to me that you don’t know much about fishing. You’re interested in space, and space and the ocean are similar in that it’s difficult for humans to explore and there’s still tons to learn about each. Maybe it’s just my bias. I love the deep ocean and deep space about the same
I don't think I've ever seen it meaningfully affect a playthrough, but a "depleted" fishing spot takes much longer to replenish compared to one that is left at "low".
3 months ago, I left a message under two videos recommending playing "Vangers". I never got any response to this recommendation. Most likely, Oliver saw this recommendation. Maybe it didn't interest him, maybe he put it on the back burner. Maybe he's already forgotten, maybe he's still planning. Obviously, if I wanted a reliable result, I should have taken the advertising more seriously, maybe created a discussion in Discord, maybe contacted him personally. But I didn't really want to do this, so it's logical that it didn't develop anywhere, and no one but me is to blame for this. And this won't disappoint me, again, I didn't want to achieve the result, I didn't get it, everything is extremely logical.
