One cannot but admire how oblivious Chase's when comes to recognising the host let it be after or before his death, that info passes thru him 🤣
I frequently forget the name that pops up at the beginning of invasions so that’s relatable, but how he doesn’t recognize the death sparks is a mystery that will forever remain unsolved. I honestly enjoy it a lot.😂

I feel like you should keep a highland axe with beast’s roar on it for any high dex build.
It’s such a great ranged poke and you can extend its range with the arrow reach talisman.
Stupid amounts of damage when optimised for.
You could even make a whole build around it, maybe?

Back when the arena had just dropped I kept running into the “Throatmancer” who had a build just like you’re describing. They just shouted at me the whole time.

Schizophrenics like at 8:00 are really fun to invade. They're typically insanely good at rustic and fish styles so they just clown as much as possible. Ds3 relics really.

I've got an idea for a challenge. You go something like a faith arcane build and the only two ashes of war you can use is lifesteal fist and the only spell you use is the inescapable frenzy to do a sort of grab build. I can't imagine it would be very good but I think it would be cool to really see you challenge your self. Or even something like a consumables only invasion video or something to that effect. Keep up the great content man, I'll always look forward to your videos.

It was buffed with the Poise changes. Now you're stuck inside it still you get to the last spin you have a gap to roll away into a roll catch lol
I used it in my dex run, lvl150, 99 dex, water fowl hits for just under 5k if all three connect, and it scares people in pvp. I loved it.

But hear me out… 60 vitality, 27 endurance, still hit over 51 poise whilst carrying Uchi and hand of mellenia, and a Banished Knight's sheild with Carion retaliation and miserichorde + endure. With all the talismans for boosting consecutive hit damage, the burst damage is obscene and crit damage on parries is insane.
8 points are from the +5 Dex talisman and the +3 Mask, so they are optional, and switchable to whatever.
You could say put 20 points in faith for stat boosts, or arcane for the bleed procs on Uchi, but on my build I don’t need to waste time casting spells, I've got braggart's roar on the uchi anyway for some stat boosts (mainly stamina regen) and exhaulted flesh (even more damage).
It means i'm doing absolute maximum damage with all those multipliers. It’s monsterous, I melted every boss first time, both Mohgs, Fire giant, Elden beast, they all fell to it, and I never failed as a hunter that run either. Renalla takes about 9k damage from Water fowl as she's got no armour. So there, that’s my reasons, it works!

You're probably right, but it's also something you have to be careful with in pvp. Everyone knows it's coming and it's timing, so it's easy to parry or punish.

Comment from the peanut gallery - If the host is standing on a breakable object, like a chair, table, barrel or the likes, the compass won't work. That's probably why the compass wouldn't show that one host.

I'd actually love a pots and perfumes build, which you could extend out to consumables but sticking to those. Could be a lot of fun, might have to combo it with bows or arcane casting to make it last enough for an invasion war but only after you ran out lol. Wait, can you craft during invasions???

Btw I recommend Faith build for the DLC especially for the actual PvE gameplay. It'll let you be versatile and not just linear bonking as I'm sure they'll add fun spells

Endure is absurdly good. Sudden burst damage, massive poise for any cool moves, and great damage negation.
It's like the best part of the stamp ashes of war, it's wonderful

yes, super cool armor overall, it's a later game guardian armor.
Yes there is 2 more flask boost, the red scrubb head wear and the talisman the wearable have negative damage negation though

I know you pick which ones to show in your videos, and still there's more and more cheesers, duelists, and gankers. Elden ring PvP is going downhill fast, and I hope that FS do something about it in the upcoming DLC. Thank you for providing quality content despite everything
I think you’re experiencing something called confirmation bias. What’s going on is the inevitable narrowing of the invasion pool that occurs between periods of new or returning player influxes, like sales or large patches, or DLC. Hell we just had a big bump in new players because of Black Friday sales. Go get some invasions in, I’ll bet you’ll run into more new players progressing through the level with their random summons, like invasions should be.
You hardswap for heals? ugh.... Man, the reason i will never get to your level of skill, is because, quite frankly, your level of skill just seems annoying... xD
The thought of me having to hardswap every 5 seconds to heal up, just makes my brain not want to play the game, at all, lmao... It's soooo annoying... Yes i know it's the "ideal strat" but it's a really annoying process to have to repeat all the time... If my brain finds it annoying, i just refuse to do it. : /
It's the kind of stuff only people that play to win, use, not people that play for fun.
It's the same reason i don't carry around a whole bunch of temporary powerup items in RPG games, because it's annoying to have to just stand there, and click buttons for 5 minutes before going into a fight that lasts like 1 minute. xD
Gameplay should be front and center, so if menu navigation takes longer than the actual gameplay does, i lose interest.

My RL150 Dex character is honestly one of my favorites. 80 dex is insanely good and the crit damage is nutty. No dagger talisman required to delete health bars, lol.
Sidenote: I'd love to watch you do some RL30/60/90 invasion content. Those level ranges feel so much more pure, and I run into folks that are just progressing through the game way more often than dedicated ganks, and the damage output is generally more reasonable from both sides of the engagement.
Man I tried at those levels and I didn't come across as many people.
@Robot-Overlord what weapon level are you? At RL30 I'm +6/+2, RL60 +12/+5, RL90 +18/+8.

@@Robot-Overlord my level 30 with +3/+1 weapons finds invasions almost instantly as opposed to my levels 125 and 139 wich usually take around 2 minutes to find an invasion
crit has nothing to do with high dex

Why stop?! Its such a strategic tactic as a invader with only a max of 6 hp flasks! You get so much more hp recovery per flask for a simple swap! To be able to pull off such a feat mid fight requires a decent amount of skill! Why limit yourself! He inspired me to try it myself and its a life saver in pve and pvp
