I like Spiderman's green suitcase! But I do not like that apartment for three reasons. 1, the ladder is dangerous because it is placed in front of a window--falling would be disastrous! 2, the toilet is in a tiny corner of the room so sitting on it would be very uncomfortable. 3, that water heater is too huge for such a small space. Oh, and one more thing: that loft looks like a coffin!
I agree with you. The ladder in front of the window gave me strong feelings of anxiety and worry. Yes, the loft space is quite claustrophobic! If possible, I think a ground floor apartment is the most suitable (Stay safe, Usui san!). I liked the apartment with the bath/shower (and window!) room the most so far (the concrete wall apartment). Which one do you prefer?
i can just imagine waking up in the middle of the night to use the toilet: 1) climb down the ladder 2) move ladder to access toilet 3) move ladder again to climb up. tired just thinking about it.
I can imagine missing a step trying to go down the ladder and make it to my destination in time and forgetting to do something and ending up upset. So No….
You know, it is amazing how you say you are looking for the perfect micro apartment when you literally live on it, I mean, we can see it, yours has everything you need and is well distributed, if something, in my opinion, would make it even better o perfect in all senses would be: -Floating cabinets to store things on the high walls -A balcony or something similar to breathe fresh air and also dry the clothes, and have some plants -A mini ofuro to relax with the hot water ´And an apace to put a tiny fridge but not noisy because the cold water is nice to drink (I think that maybe is possible to put one in the cabinet of the kitchenette along with maybe a tiny little oven or microwave for those who like me cook but not much) Of course, this is based on my opinion as someone who works from home all day and would really enjoy having a space with even more facilities to live comfortably, cooks and likes nature and good view to add more I will have a convertible sofa-bed and a Tv in the space, as well as a little cabinet to put my shoes(the genkan is the only part in your apartment that to me needs a little space for shoes)
In my opinion the apartment that you’re in now is nicer it’s also less expensive this one doesn’t really offer you anything good luck and thank you for your videos
I know some of the other apartments were a bit strange (hello bathroom genkan! XD), but this one feels the least friendly/liveable out of the apartments you've visited. It's probably because of the super-high loft (can't imagine waking up at 2 AM to go to the toilet and then just falling ass over tits from the ladder :')), not much space in the 'living' area due to the ladder, and the coffin-like loft. Thank you as always for the calming yet entertaining video, Usui-san! As it's getting colder over there I hope you're keeping warm and eating well :)
I used to have a sleeping loft, and I loved the cosy little cave. But also I never need to pee during the night. Funnily enough I thought the opposite of you, when I saw the apartment: Finally one that actually feels livable and nice.
Dear Usui-san, from.one tiny apartment lover to another, thank you for all your videos. U said that u r looking for the perfect tiny apartment, I honestly think u hv already living in it. Your current place has a decent size living, cooking, washing areas. In addition to d shape being a nice rectangle with no odd corners, the layout is also very practical. Of course surrounding area plays a part to it being 'perfect'. And since it is not for us to know that is d only area that may affect your decision. Otherwise, I love your current place❤
It's a nice apartment, but a little too narrow and shallow. Barely enough room for the ladder. The 0200 bathroom trips would be frustrating. If enough room below, would sleep on the main level and use the loft as storage. Your place is still the best.
Pozdrowienia z Polski :).
I love the opportunity to see these living spaces but the more I see, the more I think the apartment you currently have is preferable to anything we've seen.
I would pass on this one. There really isn't any room for you to put a washer/dryer. The ladder takes up too much space. You would also have to get a new bed to fit the smaller area. No work space either. The fact that the ladder blocks both the bathroom and the shower makes this a definite no! 😊
Nice windows, and rather nice view! But the rest? Well, maybe the floor is good, if it's not cold in the winter. Imagine sleeping in the loft and then have to move the ladder before being able to use the toilet? Better to use the loft for storage then.
The loft space was too cramped to justify the two charging points, never mind the awkward ladder. The wc did not have anywhere to wash your hands. As another comment has already implied, your current micro apartment has set the bar pretty high. Please continue to buy Spiderman new accessories regularly. The green case really added that little extra something.
Usui-san, that ladder near the window is scary! 😱If I can say something good, it's that the apartment has a nice floor and nice materials.
Very crazy plan. I would combine toilet and shower to have only one sliding door and maybe fit in a sink (BA like on yachts), get rid of such a big water heater and a ladder and loft as well.
Thank you for sharing all these micro apartments, hope soon you and spiderman will find the right one😃btw, im craving every time you showed us your food after each tour, looks yum 😋
Thank you Usui san for another great vdo❤❤ unfortunately I find this appartment no good. Loft is not spacious enough for sleeping. The ladder is cumbersome. Only good things are the large windows and presence of walls around the shower and toilet. Delicious food btw❤❤
Hello Usui ! First of all let me tell you something ... I think your apartment is better than this , mainly the low cost ...thanks for share ! Your dinners are delicious really specially the tabasco sauce like part of it ... Viva Mexico 🇲🇽 !! Thanks for your mention ...I expect you have that you want ...good luck ...love the Japanese style and all the people who lives in there ...best wishes ..🙋🏻♂️💯x💯
I like the feeling of an entryway when first opening the apartment door, and I like the layout of the kitchen area. A washer/dryer combo could be put next to the sink. I don’t like how cramped the toilet is and not having the sink on the toilet basin. I don’t like the idea of washing my hands in the kitchen sink after using the toilet. I like the space in the living area. A futon, perhaps, could fit in there, along with some dual purpose storage furniture, and a wall mounted tv with an arm to be able to rotate it. I would use the loft as my bedroom and place for my books, or at least some of my books - the rest being downstairs. But the ladder is so inconveniently in the way wherever it’s placed. A folding ladder would be nicer, just to free up more floor space.
Usui san, is it common or uncommon for single people in Japan to share larger apartments with others? I'm from Ireland and I live in Scotland. In both countries it is very common for young professionals to share an apartment or house with friends. Rent is very expensive here. I like how you show us the different kinds of delicious meals available in your area. It is very interesting. Thank you!
If only there was another place to store the stairs away, that loft can be used as extra storage while living on the ground floor. As it is now, it's either occupying the living area, or obstructing the way to shower room.
I like the flooring, the white tiles and the black trim around the windows. I think the loft would get old having to move the ladder each time you needed to open the toilet room door. 😊
So basically, if you need to P in the middle of the night, you have to: a) get down the ladder b) move ladder out of the way c) go do your business d) put the ladder back into place e) climb up into bed again And now, you're fully awake! 😅 Or, you can just leave the toilet door open, so the ladder can stay put, at least...
Well, bonus points for putting a wall around the toilet :) (and shower too) However, if they'd switch places for the shower room and the toilet room, it could make more sense. I imagine an urgent need in the middle of the night, when I need to get to the toilet asap... and relocating the ladder from the loft to the over the (shower) door hook is just another hustle I'd rather avoid. Also, it could solve the "un-opening door" problem. But, well, the living option is kind of affordable and may be livable by one able and somewhat young person, for some time.
I like that the shower and toilet have walls, and lofts are a great way to provide additional living space. This apartment isn't bad, but if you are scared of heights, maybe not the best fit unless you are interested in working on that fear. The ladder seems a bit of a nuisance though. And this is a matter of personal taste and I may be overly critical considering that in micro apartments, function trumps aesthetics, but I prefer wood floors over tile. Wood floors (real or fake) provides more warmth and visual interest to the room. The marbled tile seems way too sterile.
When Spider-Man goes to look at apartments does he bring his suitcase because he plans to move in immediately? I think he should rethink this apartment. That loft seemed more like a coffin. 😂
Salut Usui!
Ugh!! This is horrible, Usui. Its too much money for a tiny space. And the ladders are just nasty! There would be no time to fetch the fire ladder if the place was burning.....you would need Spiderman AND Batman to come rescue you! :)
This is a very nice apartment. I don't like how the ladder is blocking the bathroom, but if you only use the loft for storage (because you don't like heights), then the ladder doesn't need to be down all the time. But then would you have enough room for a desk and bed? And no place for a washer/dryer... I think this apartment would be a good fit for the right person, but with your circumstances, I don't think it's a good fit for you, Usui. But that's OK, because that means we get to go with and Spiderman to look at more apartments😁
Hi Usui, nice’s to see you again so soon and with your good friend the one and only Spider-Man, wow you amaze us again with this apartment it’s nice but l think you got to be 3ft tall to get into that bedroom it’s like being in Alice in wonderland after you have eaten the candy to make yourself smaller, ‘for the Toilet, can you imagine if you really need to go so bad in the middle of the night oh my goodness 😮 it be like having a nightmare 😂, your meal looks delicious, take care of yourself and enjoy the time with Spider-Man to get ready for your next day out .xx💕💕🤗🤗xx
I really enjoy these micro apartment tours! Most are cute spaces for that minimalist lifestyle! Only thing I don’t agree with is having a bathroom with no walls, feels like it breaks so many human rights! Anyway if you are considering moving into a new micro apartment I wish for you to find room for that beautiful washing machine! Also no shower/toilet without walls! Love your content ❤
You know, it's a very interesting option! It is quite unusual and bright. Problems, of course, with the washing machine. This is the first one. The second and perhaps most important thing is that you don't like heights! Plus, how to arrange some furniture, even if an elementary staircase blocks the door to the toilet? And so, it's very interesting)
I like the interior and furnishings of this apartment! But the lofted bed and ladder will make it difficult if you have to use the toilet in the middle of the night 😵💫
There isn't enough space to turn around. There is no place to put anything, not even a bed. Any ladder that makes using the toilet impossible is a big nope.
This apartment looks clean. But I have many questions. How big is the water heater? There must be smaller water heaters on the market. Can't the shower door open outward? I imagine it could be difficult to get into the shower room. Your apartment is so much nicer in comparison. Good job showing us yet another interesting micro apartment.
Hola querido Usui. Saludos
So far, I have not found an apartment I like better than the one you are living in.On this one, what if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? You have to move the ladder! And there wasn't any kind of living room for television or a couch. I am afraid of heights too!
My friend lived in a small apartment with sleeping loft. He was afraid that ladder will fall down and he'll stay traped on the loft, so he kept rope and hook there, just in case. Guess he would feel much safer in this apartment, since there's no place for ladder to fall.Except window, apparently.
It is a lot like the room I had in my parents house. It also had a loft space, which I loved. I like this one much better than several of the previous ones. I used to put the stairs aside, unless I was going up to the loft space. I can imagine having furniture on wheels in this space, which you push aside when you go up. I had similar for 5 years until I grew up, and had no issues with it. The big water heater I don't like.
Nice video, but the place again is practically unliveable....😅 The "loft/coffin" is too small and cramped and the space below does not allow even the most basic movements and the opening of WC door when the ladder is deployed... and the ladder itself is TOO close to the windows to be safe.... Imagine this scenario: at night when one is sleeping in the loft (provided one could actually sleep in there!) he/she has an "urgence" to visit the WC..... first the one has to crawl out the "loft", then try to climb down the ladder (not throwing himself/herself out of the window in the process ..). and....😅😅😅 move the ladder itself before being able to open the WC door.... then repeat the process to be able to get into bed again....😅😅😅
I definitely don't like it. Apart from the fact that you have to use a ladder (and I already mentioned this before), the loft space is extremely small. I understand that there are capsule hotels in Japan, but in this case, if an emergency occurs, God forbid, maneuvering in such a small space must be limiting. Furthermore, the ladder takes up space and limits one's actions. I definitely don't like it at all. I'm sorry...
I probably would love that room if I am a single man working near those area. Would not cook there though, change the electric stove to microwave and it's perfect.
Will you need to move the ladder everytime to have access loft, toilet and shower room....? So they always separate the toilet and shower room... Here I feel they could make one door for bathroom with toilet and shower separated with just curtain. So it won't feel smaller .... If one is claustrophobic it would be hard to live.
The loft space could be useful but not on a daily basis. That ladder really gets in the way of the living space and bathroom! I would find it very annoying.
There is no storage space at all, if your going to live in a small place you need storage space, you can't store things under the bed as the loft space can only fit a futon, the living space could only fit a small folding desk and chair as you'd have to constantly move the ladder.
By the way, I've always had a curiosity. How do you do aerial shots? Those that appear as if taken from the ceiling. In your apartment I understand that you can maneuver freely, it is your home, but how do you do it in the apartments you have been visiting? Best regards from Lima, Peru
No it's a no go for me lol I did like the kitchen but that's about it.. The emergency ladder takes up valuable space no spot for washer and the loft an ladder were terrible. I like the other loft apartment the one I was willing to live in Keep looking this has been interesting 😂
Yea you want to use the restroom and have to climb down and end up crashing through the window or something
And the ladder doesn't allow you to make a desk or a sofa there. So you are losing a lot of space...
@zzydny 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You could swap ladder for a straight one
i can just imagine waking up in the middle of the night to use the toilet: 1) climb down the ladder 2) move ladder to access toilet 3) move ladder again to climb up. tired just thinking about it.
😅🚽🪜
Exactly
I can imagine missing a step trying to go down the ladder and make it to my destination in time and forgetting to do something and ending up upset. So No….
One wouldn't be able to go back to sleep again after that exercise 😂
The ladder and toilet situation is absurd.
Very annoying Ladder, expensive for such a small space. 😅Thanks for taking us along 💖💖💖
With every apartment you are showing us, I've started to like your current apartment more. It fells more spacious and homy now.
You know, it is amazing how you say you are looking for the perfect micro apartment when you literally live on it, I mean, we can see it, yours has everything you need and is well distributed, if something, in my opinion, would make it even better o perfect in all senses would be:
-Floating cabinets to store things on the high walls
-A balcony or something similar to breathe fresh air and also dry the clothes, and have some plants
-A mini ofuro to relax with the hot water
´And an apace to put a tiny fridge but not noisy because the cold water is nice to drink (I think that maybe is possible to put one in the cabinet of the kitchenette along with maybe a tiny little oven or microwave for those who like me cook but not much)
Of course, this is based on my opinion as someone who works from home all day and would really enjoy having a space with even more facilities to live comfortably, cooks and likes nature and good view
to add more I will have a convertible sofa-bed and a Tv in the space, as well as a little cabinet to put my shoes(the genkan is the only part in your apartment that to me needs a little space for shoes)
Of all the micro apt you’ve shown, still yours is my favorite.
In my opinion the apartment that you’re in now is nicer it’s also less expensive this one doesn’t really offer you anything good luck and thank you for your videos
Keep in mind, all of these apartments will be even smaller in real life! The camera can make them seem roomier than they really are
I know some of the other apartments were a bit strange (hello bathroom genkan!

Funnily enough I thought the opposite of you, when I saw the apartment: Finally one that actually feels livable and nice.

I like loft style apartments. This one is nice and light, but not laid out very well with the ladder interfering with the door. Keep looking!
It's a nice apartment, but a little too narrow and shallow. Barely enough room for the ladder. The 0200 bathroom trips would be frustrating. If enough room below, would sleep on the main level and use the loft as storage.
Your place is still the best.

Thank you for showing us around, but I don’t think this one is better than the one you already have.
I like your place. I would simply add strong shelving over the washing machine to add a small fridge (like the Haier in this video).
I love the opportunity to see these living spaces but the more I see, the more I think the apartment you currently have is preferable to anything we've seen.
It's amazing what you can fit into such tiny spaces. Loving these apartment tours and Spider man👍

That's too expensive and dangerous apartment. Imagine just waking up early morning to go to the toilet. Very accident-prone. Abunai!

It had the best potential for storage I've seen so far, but that ladder moving around would get old pretty fast. Great video and thanks! :)
I like the flooring, the white tiles and the black trim around the windows. I think the loft would get old having to move the ladder each time you needed to open the toilet room door. 😊
6:56 for temporary residence for a father it is possible for months. Not always. Sad and not enough space. But very clean!
So basically, if you need to P in the middle of the night, you have to:
a) get down the ladder
b) move ladder out of the way
c) go do your business
d) put the ladder back into place
e) climb up into bed again

This is about location more than anything. You would spend alot of time moving that ladder. And that ladder box is crazy right there.
This one is perfect for a very thin Olympic gymnast who doesn’t mind sleeping in a motor cycle helmet!

When Spider-Man goes to look at apartments does he bring his suitcase because he plans to move in immediately? I think he should rethink this apartment. That loft seemed more like a coffin. 😂

If one is suffering diarrhea while you're in bed, rushing to bathroom will require perseverance and strong buttock muscles to squeeze it in. 😅

Positive ... It's nice and bright ... That's about it ... 😊
That entire "living" area is basically unusable because of the position of the ladder when it's in use.
*Gostei muito desse micro apato, Usui. Mas o seu já é lindo. Parabéns pelo crescimento rápido do seu canal.* 😊🥰❤ またね。
@@carolinecardoso4313 *Vi. Muito legal. Gostei tbm.*
Nice apartment, but that stair! I think you will find a better one.
Hi Usui ,
No this apartment is not good the ladder &loft no way , I like your current apartment better!
There isn't enough space to turn around. There is no place to put anything, not even a bed. Any ladder that makes using the toilet impossible is a big nope.
That water heater is comically large for the space!
This apartment looks clean. But I have many questions. How big is the water heater? There must be smaller water heaters on the market. Can't the shower door open outward? I imagine it could be difficult to get into the shower room. Your apartment is so much nicer in comparison. Good job showing us yet another interesting micro apartment.
liking this more than the one before!
Sadly this apartment isn’t functional, because of the location of the ladder to the loft. The shower is also tight. Not one of my favorites
Hola querido Usui. Saludos
So far, I have not found an apartment I like better than the one you are living in.On this one, what if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? You have to move the ladder! And there wasn't any kind of living room for television or a couch. I am afraid of heights too!
Yeah! This a cozy one usui ... 0:30 🎉
i love spiderman and your video tour. This space feel not cozy. Next please 😊🙏🍀
The ladder is always in the way, either blocking the toilet room or the shower room! What were they thinking? Spaghetti a la Japanese with an egg.
My friend lived in a small apartment with sleeping loft. He was afraid that ladder will fall down and he'll stay traped on the loft, so he kept rope and hook there, just in case. Guess he would feel much safer in this apartment, since there's no place for ladder to fall.Except window, apparently.
I like the floor. Nothing else.
Nice video, but the place again is practically unliveable....😅
The "loft/coffin" is too small and cramped and the space below does not allow even the most basic movements and the opening of WC door when the ladder is deployed... and the ladder itself is TOO close to the windows to be safe....
Keep looking. No storage and no washing machine. 😢
This cannot be real. This cannot be real life. This cannot be a developer thinking this is a home for someone. No. Can't be.
At least it is better than that bathroom turned into apartment from last time.
That ladder makes the bottom area unusable. And the only benefit of the ladder is the most tiny loft.
Will you need to move the ladder everytime to have access loft, toilet and shower room....? So they always separate the toilet and shower room... Here I feel they could make one door for bathroom with toilet and shower separated with just curtain. So it won't feel smaller .... If one is claustrophobic it would be hard to live.
we also have consome in spain. but we call it just consome, not soup. in spain soup is for a broth base and something in. consome is just broth
I don't think that even Spiderman would want to live there.
Nice apartment . 😊
Better then the last one, but I don't know about the ladder!
Das umräumen der Leiter ist mühsam. Der Schlafplatz ist wirklich klein.
The loft space could be useful but not on a daily basis. That ladder really gets in the way of the living space and bathroom! I would find it very annoying.
These apartments are getting smaller and smaller.😁😁
Wow, the smallest one Ive seen so far, and so expensive for what you get, basically a harry potter room.
Too cramped, and that ladder is a hazard. My apartment had a fixed ladder from the genkan, and I only fell down it twice.
There is no storage space at all, if your going to live in a small place you need storage space, you can't store things under the bed as the loft space can only fit a futon, the living space could only fit a small folding desk and chair as you'd have to constantly move the ladder.
If you put a washing machine in its place, where are you supposed to put the escape ladder?
By the way, I've always had a curiosity. How do you do aerial shots? Those that appear as if taken from the ceiling. In your apartment I understand that you can maneuver freely, it is your home, but how do you do it in the apartments you have been visiting?
Best regards from Lima, Peru

I recently found this channel and I have been wondering about the same thing?!?
No it's a no go for me lol I did like the kitchen but that's about it.. The emergency ladder takes up valuable space no spot for washer and the loft an ladder were terrible. I like the other loft apartment the one I was willing to live in Keep looking this has been interesting 😂
