I absolutely love camping alone next to running water / streams etc. It's so peaceful and tranquil. Gorgeous photos and video footage mate well done. Its videos like this that pushed me into solo wild camping a few weeks ago so thank you. I dont video or post as thats just not my thing but i love seeing other peoples.
Stunning video Alex! When I go to the Peaks I stay at Laneside caravan Park or Hardhurst Campsite in Hathersage. Laneside have a lovely pitching area for the tents down by the stream it's so peaceful. Keep stomping, smiling and inspiring! :)
Short comment just to say your wild camping and hiking videos are a joy . Pure inspiration. Your enthusiasm reminds me of hurlgoat (an awesome Canadian thru hiker) for how clearly it is to see how much it means to you .
What a wonderful video, stunning scenery and you pick really great music to go with it, I hope you get the car fixed soon and its not too expensive either! also I hope you go back to that spot when the rhododendrons are in flower.
Alex, only watched a few of your videos but this is real dedication! Such a great spot, so I'd say it was worth it. Your video quality easily matches and exceeds any other wild camping channels, please keep this up - it's like we're on the journey with you.
Another cracking Vid Alex, and thanks for sharing your wild camp with us. The amount of time it consumes from recording to editing is unbelievable so thanks to all the you tubers for giving us ideas and adventures. ATB Steve
Great camp spot Alex. Wise words regarding how getting out and in nature can wash away the blues, always works for me. Thanks for sharing your adventures 👍
That was brilliant! Such a peaceful and relaxing site for a wild camp with the gentle sound of the Brook running, wonderful. I think you have taken your drone footage to the next level, they were amazing and certainly for me gave some views of parts of the Goyt valley I have not seen from that perspective before. The colours were stunning! Looking forward to the kit review video too! Thanks for sharing this, it was wonderfully calming 👍
Thank you very much Greg! Got very lucky finding that spot, will definitely be heading back at some point. Glad you enjoyed the drone footage, I love seeing the area from above looks so different!Thank you for the kind words and support as always Greg, means a lot 😁👍
Great video, Alex. Stunning drone shots as well. Have you tried the chilli and lime Graze nuts? They are my go to snack for wild camps 👌🏼... I keep meaning to try those smokey BBQ ones, so my next camp, I'll give them a whirl 👍🏼. ATB, Mike.
What a peaceful location!! Do the colours change dramatically during autumn? Must look even more magical when stream is fuller. Love the drone shots! Nice work. Mari
Beautifully filmed Alex. I love trying to work out where you are on your walks, especially round the Goyt valley. Most of my videos seem to be either following the Goyt or the Etherow, but a lovely chap gave me a car recently so I can start getting out to the Lakes and Wales. Hope yours gets fixed soon 😀
Thank you very much! It’s a beautiful part of the Peaks the Goyt Valley isn’t it, so many areas to explore! Hope you have a fantastic time exploring the Lakes and Wales this summer 😁👍
I love that part of the peaks. I was there not far from the shrine other side of the forest a couple of weeks ago but the midges were rife I had to camp on higher ground. Make improv chopsticks from twigs. That’s what I do when I don’t have a sport in the forest.
Sorry about the car Alex, hope it soon gets fixed. Great video and great camping spot! Getting out regardless is definitely the best. I have started going for a short walk just round the neighbourhood before breakfast every weekday. I have the privilege of living in a nice leafy area and now Spring has finally sprung it is so pretty. Looking forward to more wild camp videos. 🏕 But don’t forget the cutlery! 😄
Thank you Peter! Car all sorted thanks 😊 What a great way to start the day and even better that you can do it in your neighbourhood. It’s beautiful at the moment now that everything is finally turning green again! Have a great week Peter, thanks for the support as always 👍
Stunning vistas, Alex. Keep up the good work!
Brilliant opening my friend, what a brilliant piece of cinematography!
Thank you! 😁

Thank you Ray, appreciate it! 😁
Nice video again Alex....A tent peg makes fror a good good Spoon when you have forgotten your utensil's :)
Thank you! 😊 I tell you what, that isn’t a bad shout at all haha. Better than a toothbrush which is the best I could come up with!
Or hide a spare spoon in with your pegs, you’re in bigger trouble if you forget it then !
