On the Car Care Nut channel, he picked up a white 1794 LE. He just did a review on it the other day. It was sitting on the dealership's lot with a nice discount which is why he bought it.
I would love one. That interior is something you need to see in person
I've been saying this is the best time to pick up a Tundra. Use the recall hysteria to your advantage. The 2024s aren't even being recalled, but the overall drop in Tundra demand affects the prices across the board!
@@andyleo8418it’s still a gamble, since we don’t know how reliable those 2024 trucks are. CCN is a mechanic, so he knows how exactly he would fix the car. If you are in a really good financial situation where you can take a hit if the truck happens to have a problem than that’s fine to buy it but a lot of people can’t afford to have an unreliable truck.
2024 tundra still the best!!!
Great video !!!
When I’m back in the market I might go there !!!
Social media has ruined Toyotas reputation.
I can't wait for the June sales video. I'm really curious how bad the sales dropped.
I'm not hating on Toyota but I would be concerned to buy one with this recall.
👍 yes the white Tundra. Just wished Toyota would build more for the factory like it to bring the Price Down 👍 Thanks Happy 4th of July
Wow , what a savings!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There are going to be some good prices on used third gens. If Toyota goes the long block route, a lot of people are going to get a great truck at a more reasonable price
I like that white one limited edition that I saw on one of your shorts if I was going to buy a third gen that would be it saddleback leather blacked out
Did you see the blueprint 1794 limited edition in this video? I finally got inside of one 🙌🏼
Los Angeles, California doesn’t get these discounts lol. Smh yet alone hard to find decent tundras on the lots
Love the updates on your finds but how about trying different content in terms of fining older Tundras? Maybe check out used dealerships. Someone out there is definitely looking for those gems. Just a food for thought 🤙🏼
I guess you didn’t get to the later part in the video 😁. Also, check my last few dealer walks. Some are dedicated to the 2nd gen. Im always searching
For a few more thousand, you get so much more with the limited for the 2.5 gen tundra.
I’ll keep my 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs, until I die.
Forget the Turbo’s !
Just bought a '24 Tundra Platinum CC SB iForceMax - I'm still pissed the truck doesn't have tow hooks - it's 3 years into the model and besides recalls this is probably the #1 sore point with potential buyers and actual owners. Now that I've had it a month and a half, I'm pissed they don't offer a passenger side bed step along with a passenger side rear taillight bed release. Do they not think people access their beds from the passenger side? These features are what should be standard from the factory.
I added tow hooks from AFE. Quick install and about 70 bucks
@@TundraDude34 That is an option and I'm glad they are out there. But, my Platinum Off-Road was $73K MSRP - should have come with them! The AFE tow hooks are slightly better than stock as you still have to crawl under the front of the vehicle to access them. If you are stuck in snow or mud, or if you are stuck in something deep even a rut, you may not be able to get to them. There is no defending Toyota on this. Maybe it's okay the 2022 didn't have them but they should have been emergency retrofitted for the 23 model year and definitely in the 24 MY.
@BrickyardPowerMan i 10000% agree that tow hooks should be standard on ALL Tundras.
I’d go with the first 21 he looked at, although I would try and do some haggling on the price or just wait.🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤔🤔🤔
Tundradude do you know if toyota is offering trd performance package for existing 3rd generation customers?
When it was announced, they said it will come on factory tundras at first and then hopefully be offered to existing owners later on. We still haven’t seen it on new trucks yet though
Wow, I can see maybe looking at a nice used 2nd gen one might be a better deal.
3 nice 2nd gens at the end of this video
Change the engines to v8 again no turbos
If only it came with an engine that didn't grenade. 5.7 4 lyfe.
5.7L grenaded when it first came out... like then, Toyota will fix the bugs 😉
@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD Not correct. There was a very small run that had issues. Not 'every engine manufactured' for 4 years in a row. Massive difference when dealers won't even take a 4th gen Tundra on trade.
😉
When will they announce the remedy for the engine ?
I’m anxiously awaiting!
2024s aren't affected.
That’s so they can continue to sell in the meantime
Predator steps are terrible - awkward and unsafe to use. They look great and that's about it.
I agree they get slippery when wet.
Tundra needs a refresh and a new engine
I don’t think you’ll see a new engine. They will just fine tune this one. Also, my guess is 2026 refresh. What do you want to see on it?
The current Gen 3 Tundra will go down as Toyota's big mistake. After the election they'll be able to produce a Gen 3 2.0
They should of left it alone. The last gen was solid, current is pathetic.
Do you own one? I bet you don't and you won't right?
It was old af
$70k for a truck with questionable reliability is insane. Toyota screwed up big time on these new generations.
Then why does the big 3 get away with it all the time? People hating on toyota because of a defect and the fact is any of the big 3 have more problems with any model yet nobody calls them out.
@@pwells479because people expect reliability since Toyota is known for it so if they screw then it weighs more and we all know how shit quality the rest are so it's shocking seeing Toyota make such great mistakes 🤦🏻♂️
Yep, just like the BIG 3
@@pwells479Well if that’s the case, Toyota should stop crooning about quality and reliability.
You can thank North American epa regulations
Tundra are Freaking junkies.
It feels like an infomercial video... That's why this video deserves a 👎🏼
Talking about these trucks with ridiculous pricing....
I travel around lot to lot, to show you guys pricing and trends. Also, I talk about the details of each Tundra trim and options available. Its for educational purposes to the folks that are looking to buy. Sorry if that offends you sir.
TundraDude’s content and passion for tundras is the most thorough on the ground research. He’s the Tundra equivalent of a field journalist; much love and keep on doing the great reporting that you are doing sir!!
