I like the way you do your restaurant reviews (show the atmosphere and food and then talk about the experience afterwards) I don’t think there’s a need in life for a blow by blow as you eat. You should get to enjoy your meal and the experience.
Komodo at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas is like the unicorn of restaurants - it's got magical food and service that'll make you feel like you're in a fantasy land! I have gone to restaurants up and down the strip, and I really enjoy this place. We have been there twice and both times the food is just so, so good. The fish is always amazing and the Peking duck is probably the best I’ve ever had. Their specialty cocktail is called the Pikachu, it served in a Pikachu mug.
Nice reviews! Don's Prime looked great, different presentations than the usual. Komodo also looked very tasty. Glad you enjoyed both. Good to have more dining options on the Strip.
I don’t think there’s anybody on UA-cam that does a better job and showing what you get for dinner and how much it cost in the atmosphere of the restaurant great job guys
Another winner review! Always appreciate you guys exploring Vegas for us. Going to Resorts World soon and will def stop at Fontainebleau - so curious to compare and contrast these two! Thanks again!
Once again you guys hit it out of the park with your presentation. Can't wait to try the restaurants that were showcased in your video. Loved the outfits you guys wore while dinning. I always think a sports coat is the way to go for a nice dinner out. Ashden was beautiful as usual! Thank you for the video.
You both are great. Love following you. My happy place Las Vegas. Don’s Prime looks great. Hotel looks wonderful. Will be in Las Vegas next May 27 for two weeks. Looking forward to checking out the Fountaibleau. Informative videos, thank you.
Excellent review. Dons seems like a spectacular place. 2 people for under $300 in steakhouse in Vegas is a steal. I don’t buy bottled water. Yes, very awkward for bathroom attendants
Here in UK we only have bathroom attendants in Nightclub toilets and they charge a small fee for a spray of aftershave or perfume I still can't believe pay for this or that it's even a thing as every just accepts it's awkward and unecessary.
Love your videos great information. You guys look great. Please 🙏 could you tell me where you got that fabulous gold dress. Hubby and I will be in L.V. for Valentines and will be at the Paris first time as you recomended and will visit the new hotels. Thank you
$250 for a dinner a fancy steakhouse? That's definitely a bargain. Lol! We had dinner at Carversteak which costs $400 and Wakuda which was $500. I had dinner at Komodo in Miami and it's very good, I'll check out the one at this place when I'm back in Vegas this spring.
@@davidhaber5304 Yes, I saw what I watched. If they ordered another entree, it'll be another $70 or $90 to their bill and it's still going to be a bargain. I don't care what you and your wife order, your marriage issue isn't my problem bud. Lol!
I am literally at Dons Prime as I type this. I have found that this place is amazing, but all the steaks are about $10 more each. Example, the 32OZ dry aged porterhouse is now $205.
im a vegas local and bathroom attendants are normal in night clubs and some concerts / dining events, I don't mind it an you don't need to tip unless you use their services.
Thanks for the reviews! The Asian dishes were pretty to look at, and the steakhouse does warrant getting dressed up to go and enjoy. I think jackets should be required and men take off their hats. Will check out on our next trip!!
We stayed at Fontainebleau over Christmas and ate at two completely different restaurants, so it was really nice to see these two reviews. Don's Prime did look a little too classic steakhouse to me, so we didn't bother going, but I think I will definitely be giving it a shot on our next visit after seeing this. I'm not sure that I can say the same for Komodo though. Mainly because we had one of our most memorable meals ever at KYU. I highly recommend it next time you guys are there! They have phenomenal cocktails as well. And if anyone reading this is questioning whether Fontainebleau is worth it, IT IS 👍😊
Live the video. Especially the way you edit in the prices. As for the bathroom attendant, I agree with you. I hate when there is one. I don’t tip because I don’t use their services. I think it it’s weird they are there, but maybe that’s just me 😂
I absolutely hate the bathroom attendant thing. I always feel obligated to tip and sometimes I don't have cash or ones, so it is very uncomfortable. Thanks for your reviews. We are going to Vegas in May and plan to eat at one of these restaurants..
LOVE your videos, please keep them coming!!!! The bathroom “attendent” is utter boo-$hit but honestly I do tip on the 1st go around a little more than I should, I talk to them so they remember me & then I don’t tip again.
First off, you guys look like million bucks!!! … the night at Komodo I was only 200 yards away from you at bizarre meats at the Sahara… would’ve been awesome to have met you guys!! Next time👍🏽… awesome awesome review as usual!! Both look delicious!… I’m 50-50 on bathroom attendants .. last experience I had with that was at the adult pool at Mandalay Bay.. the first time for the paper towel😂.i tipped ... but not the second time when I came back around.. I mean a buck, right?! For paper towel😂.. it’s definitely “awkward”.. Ashden, I agree .. thank you guys! Look for ward to next drop!!🍻🫡✌🏽Happy New Year!
One, in Europe it is more common to pay for either still or sparkling water. And two, even the casino bathrooms have someone taking care of the it. Of course they are not stationed there all the time, but if I encounter one, I like to tip them a dollar. Call it superstition, but maybe it will bring me luck by paying it forward.
I don't NEED a bathroom attendant...but I don't mind if there is one. I always thank them and throw a few bucks their way. As always thoroughly enjoy your videos!
Both places look pretty great, and I really like how you slowly showcase the menu in your vlogs. UGG to the overpriced bottled water as well as the bathroom attendant. Who carries cash on them anymore? Love the green jacket, by the way.
I have never seen anyone take a breath mint or get a splash of cologne from the bathroom attendant. And I rarely see anyone tip them. They also hand out paper towels (in fancy places cloth towels), but I just take it without tipping like most people do. Steak places now charge around $80 to $90 for a good steak. That's already $160 to $180 just for the steak. Then appetizers, sides, (now bread isn't free), alcohol, water, and coffee is over $100. Tax is another $50 for a total of around $330 to $350 barring dessert. Now I try not to go to steakhouses, or I go to one that's a little more reasonably priced like Capital Grille at Fashion Show. But I'm sure that will change.
I’m excited they now have a Komodo in Las Vegas. I went to the Miami location and it was delicious. I highly recommend the Peking duck. The skin is out of this world good. Their Miami location also had a bathroom attendant at that location and I can’t stand them. I wish they didn’t exist
I completely appreciate you guys dressing appropriately for a night out. It’s so frustrating to go out to an elegant dinner only to find a restaurant filled with patrons that are completely underdressed. People have zero respect for such things and have no idea how to act like respectable adults.
