Also makes gorgeous backgrounds for any watercolor painting, just that broken kind of mosaic look. Xxx I say this because I watching UA-cam while I’m patiently waiting for that exact thing to dry 😂. Snap!
Yes! It can be used for a variety of things cant it! Lol, It does take just a bit to dry, and if just a bit too early it is a completely different look! Have fun, your comment "Snap" made me smile!
I love all your videos. The quick hints like this one, the shorts, and the longer tutorials. It's like I get my daily dose of Debbie! Lol...I try most of them too . I think I will never be good at leaves though. I've tried. The last was the oak leaves with the pumpkin and they look more like a child's Christmas tree!
AW I LOVE that Colleen, I feelt he same actually, I love getting my daily dose of Colleens, kind words and subscribers sharing their experiences, and enjoying this beautiful medium with me. So fun to see familiar faces (a.k.a. names) in my feed each morning. Happy painting friend
I'm sitting here with my mouth open wondering why I haven't thought of that before. I jump between watercolour and acrylic painting and I use that clingfilm (we call it in UK) frequently on my acrylics! Duh... Thanks Debbie, I'm off to try it straight away ❤ from Scotland 🏴
Right? sometimes its these simple little things that can have such a huge impact! I LOVE sharing these type of techniques. Yes clingform, I've heard it called as well :-) My pleasure always friend.. Have fun my beautiful Scotland artist! (Oh, I would love to visit Scotland one day)
I love t his technique, so easy to create stained glass. water ripples, rocks, main thing is to let it dry enough, and really wrinkle up that saran or cling wrap~ Have fun playing friend.
My pleasure, always fun to share little techniques like this~ You can always learn how to create individual rocks but this at least gives you a way to paint a landscape if you wanted too meanwhile. Have fun with it!
Isnt it fun! Hi Maggie. I hike a lot, and drive to places like the mountains etc, so I am always painting landscapes, and love plein air, I made it a goal recently to share more landscapes. They can be really fun! Yes, Geesen is so much fun, which I love !
You’re welcome 😊 I love finding ways to simplify something that can be quite intimidating~ Enjoy! Here is my full landscapes play list too, there may be some additional fun things in there for you~ ua-cam.com/play/PLGvRyB1lQxyk_XCmI3n2qSh4Yx5sYymGY.html
I really like that!! Guess what I'm doing next? 5 more days, counting down!! I noticed that your brush seems to hold a good amount of paint. Is that just me or does it?
They do well indeed, yet because they are snappy they arent going to swallow up too much water so the water c ontrol becomes challenging but they do well. Oh Janice I cant wait., I ohpe it will be fun for us all!
I use for all my daily work and practices the Artisto pad and the Paul Rubens MeiLiang palette its fantastic! amzn.to/3s1LAWO US: bit.ly/3yvxgpF CA: bit.ly/3q2GdWB UK: amzn.to/3puSiDq Have fun!
