@@RonWarrenmusic57 Heheh, I’m well into singing myself! For a while I used to post covers here on UA-cam, but after sometime I stopped. You’re bringing in your own style these timeless ballads which can never be written again. People like me who are still young and have been able to know and love this kind of music are very, very lucky. All the best!
Always Awesome Ron, with both the fab' vocals and wonderful keys playing. May I ask please, are you playing the CP with its inbuilt FX only? If not, what FX unit are you playing your CP through? -- as your CP pianos/epianos sounds as enjoyable as your ambient vocals ;-). One other question please Ron, if you were playing the YC instead of the CP would you miss the extra Pianos of the CP (e.g. the Bosendorfer) for your popular radio hit songs of the '70's & the '80's? Thank you for your time responding Ron, much appreciated. All the best and blessings for the New Year 2024. Cheers, Garzo
Hello Garzo! I use only the onboard FX with my CP. I would not miss the additional pianos. Most of my covers using pianos are the CFX, CP80, and Uprights. God bless you!

Outstanding Ron. I love the new sounds on the eagles song, That guitar is magical. I'll have to look on soundmondo to see if you posted. Im still struggling to get mine updated to 1.5. Tried lexar and 3 others and 40+ times, still getting no file found. I'm going to try a different computer elsewhere and see if that's what's going on. Thank you for the fresh medly and inspiration. I appreciate you sharing your gift with the world Ron!! It brings a big smile listening to you.
Jeff. I think I know what's going on with your issue. This happened to me the first time I tried to update. Here's what you do: When you download 1.5 on your computer, it will be a ZIPPED file. You're going to need to find where you downloaded it, click on it , open it, and look at all the files it has inside. Only ONE of those files is the one you will need to put on your thumb drive (I can't remember the extension). Then drag that file to your thumb drive and when you insert that thumb drive into your CP88 it will recognize it. I feel sure this is what is happening. I remember how I struggled to do my first update. I asked a friend about it and he mentioned and it worked! Let me know if this helps.
@@RonWarrenmusic57 Wish I would have logged on here this morning and read your comments. haha. Your right. I watched several videos over and over, but finally got it, so Thank you.
Hey Ron, you’re a fabulous contemporary piano 🎹 player 🎶 … and a gifted vocalist … wish I could buy that voice. Your channel has become my favourite contemporary 🎹 piano-playing channel. If I purchased this year a CP88 would you be interested in selling me your favourite layered CP88 piano setups info played in your YT channel songs? … especially the ballady piano 🎹 ones like the Elton John & Barry Manilow songs, etcetera. Thank you. Enjoy the weekend when it comes your way. 🤗 Cheers, Garzo
You can download for free a lot of my voices on Soundmondo. Now if you want me to download all my files on a stick for you to load on your CP88, that’s another matter.
@@RonWarrenmusic57 Thank you for your reply Ron, in this busy life hey Bro, appreciated. At the outset, I just wish to assure you, that my comments about enjoying your fab' ballady-styles of piano playing, and wishing I could buy your gift of vocal-singing ability are not flattery! -- they're genuine comments by me personally. I always had in times past so enjoyed the piano-ballad styles of Carol King (eg. You've Got A Friend), & Richard Carpenter, Elton John, Bruce Hornsby, George Winston, Dave Grusin, and Bob James. If I was living in your city, I would be knocking on your door asking for advance piano lessons. If you ever want to holiday in south-east Queensland (@ the large island down under), to enjoy the sights and tourist attractions of Brisbane, & also the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast regions, I'm offering to be your free daily holiday-travel chauffeur in exchange for piano lessons ;-). I grew up in Brisbane, and know Sth-east Qld like the back of my hands. Now that I'm retired, I would have time to be your daily holiday-chauffeur, and I look forward to slowing down your YT videos to try and do separate hands practice of how you're playing those popular fab' song-piano ballads with your so enjoyable piano styles with the interfacing of what the two hands are playing. Thank you for offering me the Soundmondo weblink for accessing Yamaha CP88 piano performance setups, appreciated. Would you be open to the possibility of me purchasing from you all your fab' CP88 programmed voice setups (layers/splits) for posting to me on a USB stick? If doable for you time-wise, with no-rush urgency expected with this project, how do I get my personal name and address details and phone number to you without publicly stating them in these UA-cam comments? I have an Aussy PayPal account by which I can pay you for this appreciated project. Thank you Ron. Blessings, cheers, Garzo.
@@garzoroberto7623 Unfortunately I make it a policy not to do any kind of business with those I meet online. I hope you understand. The good news is that you really don't need a USB stick with my setups. Like I said before, you can go online to Soundmondo, hook your CP88 to your computer or iPad, and you can download any of my layers/splits free of charge. It's just like getting them on a stick. You can audition them before you download as long as you are connected to your CP88. I believe that anything you download will include my effects/reverb/delay/EQ settings. Hope this helps. God bless.
@@RonWarrenmusic57 All good then, thank you for reply and clarification Ron re the CP88 program setups. Very nice! I'm loving my CP88!
Nice! 15:00 one of my favorites from the 70s, I use to play this often, but Fragile took over it. 👍
Gee ! Outstanding memory and superb multitasking! I can just do so much. Difficult keys fits your voice. Congratulations.
I vote for a medley once a week, at least :)
what a voice
Thank you Antoine!
"Love Won't Let Me Wait", your playing and vocals are smooth, Mr. Warren!

You may have to format your thumb drive as well. Look at this youtube video. ua-cam.com/video/ktDF7zUL4G8/v-deo.html
The file you need to upload to your CP88 is the PGM file.
