Honestly, it looks strikingly simiar to one of the variations of a gadget I read about in an old (1890's) magician's handwritten notebook. It detailed many of the stage devices, props, and illusions he had developed and gleaned from other magicians during his years. The hand written TOC gave the original journal at over 300 pages. In another variant (using “quartz glass” and alcohol you could shoot a jet of fire six feet. The “ignitor” as he called it was detailed in an end section of the notebook. It had a lot of different uses and it apparently was a brainchild of his. At least, he spent a couple pages bragging how easily it was concealable from “the rubes”. Alas: I don't know if the bragging went longer than a couple of pages - nor how the igniter was constructed - mice had gotten at the diary and after staining, teething, and gathering the rag paper as nest material none of the final quarter of the journal was decipherable.
Cool idea, nice workmanship, but that igniter click is a little counterproductive to the stealthy-ness. If you wanna be impressed, just get me a candy thermometer, some orthodontic rubber bands, and a packages of Tucks Medicated wipes...
Fun toy but that will not work for defense. Lol. All that loading time plus you're just going to make someone mad if you shoot them with it. Good luck reloading while being rushed or shot.
I can do the same thing with my throwing knives, quicker and more accurately You gotta stop and reload after each shot And I don’t think it has significant air pressure to do what you’re doing without having to re-charge the pressure
You shouldn't say for self defense because some idget is going to think of this is actually enough to defend yourself with and they are going to get hurt personally if you shot me with that it would just piss me off

in der sprühflasche? wahrscheinlich ethanol/spiritus. im prinzip kannst du jede leicht flüchtige gut brennbare flüssigkeit verwenden, bzw jedes brennbare gas, man sollte halt beachten das manche gas bzw brennstoff/luft mischungen mehr energie als andere entwickeln, zb. acetylen oder wasserstoff im richtigen verhältnis hat ganz schön bums, ne derartige konstruktion fliegt einem da schnell mal um die ohren.. manche nehmen auch einfach haarspray oder deo, ist aber weniger empfehlenswert, sifft alles zu und teuer obendrein

It should. Its propelled by gas from the explosion and not compressed gas, like co2, that loses volume/pressure in the cold.
