In this video, I play GARN 47 for the first time, and this might be the weirdest and most hilarious game I've ever played.

The context for this is that this was originally a cameo of a character that’s a variation of Sonic.exe (which has gained popularity in recent years due to people making retakes of the creepypasta that are actually cool). The chase was originally sick as hell, but the owner of the character didn’t want them in the game, so it was replaced with this.

My favorite part about that chase was the song having separate instrumental and vocal tracks - and the monster had proximity voice so sometimes he just jumps out of earshot before rapidly approaching still singing.
The only part of that I truly miss…
Plus this was my introduction to that Subterfuge song and figuring out “oh Silly Billy pays very direct homage to certain songs”

The simple answer is that Subterfuge was made before Silly Billy.
In speculation…
I’m recounting this as someone who doesn’t know the whole story, but Silly Billy itself _is_ paying respects to something, and that’s a late Friday Night Funkin modder/mod contributor - “Yourself” and “Herself” being inspired by that modder’s unfinished work before their passing, if they aren’t 1:1 the real deals.
I have no idea what other mods they had worked on, so I’m only assuming an excerpt of Subterfuge was referenced because Silly Billy is a song celebrating somebody notable who worked on other FNF mods.
