I used to daily my R33 everywhere, because my cars at home were the RX7 or my 71 KE25 Corolla. Theyre actually really reliable as a daily. I've been daily driving a skyline in some form or another for over 20 years (My R30, then R34, then R32, then R33, now V36)
Most modern high cc injectors can run very low duty cycle and flow rate while still maintaining a good spray pattern, it's a lot easier and safer to run slightly oversized injectors at lower power so they aren't over working at a stupid high duty cycle which will wear them out pretty quickly
