Really enjoyed you vid. I wonder if this has any of the other benefits of the Sieko Tuna. How robust is the movement I wonder. Also I like that the bezel is higher than the hardlux. That sort of protection really works well
Bought one last saturday. Stopped working Sunday morning. Took it back to the store to have another one from another store shipped in to swap. Still waiting. Wears nicely on my wrist. I also have the Prospex MarineMaster Tuna 300m love that watch. Great beaters. Disappointed at the Seiko for crashing so quickly. Good review as always, but not impressed with the watch for the price. If I was looking for a solar quartz diver for a lot less money it would be one of the Citizen Promaster range. Think they do an Aqualand series although I don't know if they are solar. @@PerthWAtch Well im not really looking for a quartz diver at the moment (not looking for any watch at the moment tbh) but if I was after a quick look I'd say a simple classic BN0191-80L. Great review Mate!! I just purchased this a few minutes ago...So as some have said here, I got to the Chopper!... Be safe and well!... Cheers, The G-Man!
One thing about the "get to the choppa" scene that I can never get over is, He's telling a known enemy soldier to get to a helicopter that will be there to pick up the team. Ain't no way that helicopter crew is already there, landed and waiting. Additionally, they aren't gonna land at the LZ unless the LZ has been secured by the team. She will get to an empty space in the jungle, the chopper will come in, see the team is not there and then fly off. Sorry, I just had to. The arnie is amazing but just a bit too big for me.
Arrghh. Just got mine and the seconds hand hits way off the markers. Especially annoying when it points to the 12, 3, 6, 9 indices where it hits the edge of the markers instead.
I have already looked at dozens of reviews of this watch (and its different variations) and always an important detail is forgotten and yet this detail is explained in the manual (RTFM makes sense here) This detail is that the LCD screen will die its beautiful death after 7 years It is also written that it can be replaced but at the expense of the owner with Seiko Planned abscolecence? Air diving? And I tend to avoid watches that look too big on Arnie. Does anyone else wonder why the digital readout minutes don't match the minute hand on your lume display?
