I love the story. Two warriors trying to overcome a fight that broke their spirits. Oxob explained to Gildeknight (imma call him that) that his scars ran deeper but Gildeknight couldn't explain it. It was a win but it felt like a loss. When his gauntlets were glowing hot he still put his hands in, showing that he had the determination to keep going. Oxob's gift to Gildeknight was a way to overcome his demon and seeing Gildeknight's state and was still standing tall, Oxob overcame his demons and stood tall under his own power to fight him on even terms. Bog still tried to corrupt Gildeknight but with the fighting spirit and a little something extra from Oxob, Bog had no way to break him anymore. Not gonna lie though, Gildeknight's fight against Bog was, for want of a better word, brutal.

I just realized outside of the fact that Gildedguy's gauntlets were cutting into his hands they were also blazing hot from the lightning. Also, Jade looks positively evil in that flash back even though from my understanding she really isn't a bad person.
She is the leader of an organization with the power to teleport and make magic contracts that are agreed to be of equivalent value to gold and there main objectives are fights with a lot being death battles not sure it's evil but it's not helping her case
She's not bad, but she's quite cocky and takes advantage of others sometimes. Remember when she tried to take advantage of a weaponless Gildedguy during her duel with him?
The music works so well with this, and its so emotionally powerful in general. Awesome job, dude, you ROCKED THIS! This vid was actually my intro to this entire section of animators (hyun's dojo); I came looking for stickmen with personalities after seeing Alan Becker's work :) and I found them. All of this stuff is absolutely fascinating and I want to give a huge shout-out to Guildedguy, Oxob & all the other animators in Hyun's Dojo. It's so much fun to watch!

im late to the party but this episode in particular is my favorite out of the gildedguy series, just two guys that have zero clue how to deal w their PTSD, some miscommunication that starts a fight but eventually that fight ends up being cathartic and therapeutic for both of them, both of them throughout the fight having these flashbacks and visions of what burdens them but at the end the music and particularly Oxob relaxing his gaze for once really drives it home that things are not perfect, they have not healed, not entirety, but they got better. Amazing work!! ❤️
I love how you can understand the story line without any dialogue whatsoever, just with the gorgeous visuals and animation Though I have to say, it would’ve been much better with SFX
My god. This is quite probably better than almost any anime fights I have ever. The pace of the fights the music in the background. But the best thing was the raw emotion. You could almost feel Oxob and Gildedguy's pain. It was beautiful.
Alright, everyone praising the animation again, and hey I'm with ya, it's amazing, but can we start trying to make guesses as to who's next? I mean there seems to be enough clues there for someone who knows about all the animators to get a good idea. The banner calling what's-her-name a tyrant sounds like a good hint. (Sorry but I'm really drawing a blank on fan flame and sometimes staff lady) Then again, maybe it won't be a duel next story. Who knows? Certainly not me. Why's nobody else talking about this?

a story about two fighters forgetting about their past traumas to finally let loose and battle stress free. the animation hit different at 7 in the morning with no sleep whatsoever. everything about it was so encapsulating I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for even a moment. gildedguy really outdone himself with this one, i seriously can’t wait for the next.
I have watched/listened to this at least 50+ times by now, both here and guildedguy's original, still the best animated piece I have ever seen. Watching them both beat their problems and going all out at the end, bit of a book here, but for good reason with how amazing this was and still is 50+ watches later
so many nice views,angles and even how you saw that both had their issues while fighting and all....ahhh gildedguy makes those fights so much more alive

nah either loses or high diffs. the electric gold match up wasn't very good for him. Alsogilded wasn't wearing gaunlets when he still had his sword. And it had turned into a friendly fight. If it didn't and gilded had his sword, we can't be so sure of the outcome. Jade on the other hand, it felt like oxob lost pretty much because of his legs
Gildedguy's armour only helps if he is grounded. Oxob could launch him into the air before assaulting him with a barrage of energy attacks, that way the electricity has nowhere to disperse and the armour actually makes it worse for Gilded.
The best fight of the Hyuns dojo community, well what an inspiring animation by gildedguy that put to much hard lets give some support for him(totall masterpiece)
Loved this. Honestly the Animations just gorgeous and the music is just so ridiculous and weirdly upbeat but in a good way with the fact that it just strangely works really well with the Animations.
3:24 me when I find a stick in my backyard 3:30 my mom trying to get it back from me 3:40 me when she gets to close 4:06 mom beating your butt because you disobeyed her 4:13 me trying to run away 4:38 I throw some yarn at mom and she gets tangled 5:04 I throw the yarn at a fire and she gets burnt 5:19 I run to go get my stick 5:29 I see the stick but there’s a huge spider on it 5:36 I grab the spider but mom catches up 5:58 i throw the spider at moms face 6:02 mom sees the spider and i punch her 6:10 mom sees that I’m giving her mercy 6:18 mom crying because she knows how brave *(not)* I am 6:23 mom all charged up This is yet to be finished.
Great fight but a couple of things first:- 1) How did they light a campfire in the rain. 2) Did Gildedguy gain electric powers or was he just redirecting Oxob's own shock. 3) From what I know Gildedguy is a rookie compared to Oxob who pretty much had years of experience. I mean Gildedguy won a fight against Bog and Jade who are also veterans but in the fight with Bog he just fought him with his mind and with Jade he distracted her then landed the finishing blow. Whereas here he won against him in a 1v1 fist fight.
How they light a fire? Easy, Oxob just...did his thing... Although a rookie, GG is geniuenlly smart and is filled with determination, and he trains, *a lot*. How GG obtained electrical powers for the time being? GG's Magical pen went flying up the stormy sky after he strungled Oxob and then got the pen and Oxob to be electricuted, but the lightning that electricuted both of 'em was then upgraded by the power of GG's pen. The upgraded lightning then went on to the strungled Oxob, since the magical ink string didn't fade at first, resulting the Red electricity that was emitting on Oxob's hands, in result gave Oxob a higher difficulty of being defeated. GG ran off to his Golden Gauntlets. As while he was running, a powerfull strike of lightning hit his gauntlets, since his entire armor was created by his magical paint (within the pen) gave his gauntlets an afinity to electricity (for the time being). After that, Oxob then harrased GG, and since GG can't escape from it, he then had one choice, to face his demon. He quickly wear it as soon Oxob jumps, from the time they had a sumo wrestling (Just going to call that) Oxob tried to electricute GG, but GG's full body armor not complitelly nullifies all electrical attacks, but also Oxob's electricity gave GG's armor an electrical afinity (since his entire armor is magical and the elecricity that Oxob has was upgraded). With the help from the pen upgraded lightning and GG's electrical gauntlets, GG is now at a point to where he's equally powerfull to Oxob. Sorry for the long explaination, but I hope you can understand....
Light drizzle doesn't and cannot extinguish a large fire on its own Gildedguy redirected Oxob's electricity towards him. That wasn't his own power. Oxob was crippled so obviously he'd be weaker in this state. At the same time I'm pretty sure Gildedguy was a pretty good fighter with enough technique. The problem is, Jade was faster than him AND had her weapon unlike Gildedguy, Bog is a literal monster acid slime who craves for bloodshed, and therefore cannot be defeated by mere weapons alone.
I just remember anime that has almost the same scene as this and its called My Hero Academia:Heroes Rising where Deku and Bakugou fight side by side to take down Nine (THIS ANIMATION ALSO GIVES ME THE SAME GOOSEBUMPS TOO!!)

Great fight but a couple of things first:-
1) How did they light a campfire in the rain.
2) Did Gildedguy gain electric powers or was he just redirecting Oxob's own shock.
3) From what I know Gildedguy is a rookie compared to Oxob who pretty much had years of experience. I mean Gildedguy won a fight against Bog and Jade who are also veterans but in the fight with Bog he just fought him with his mind and with Jade he distracted her then landed the finishing blow. Whereas here he won against him in a 1v1 fist fight.

How they light a fire? Easy, Oxob just...did his thing... Although a rookie, GG is geniuenlly smart and is filled with determination, and he trains, *a lot*. How GG obtained electrical powers for the time being? GG's Magical pen went flying up the stormy sky after he strungled Oxob and then got the pen and Oxob to be electricuted, but the lightning that electricuted both of 'em was then upgraded by the power of GG's pen. The upgraded lightning then went on to the strungled Oxob, since the magical ink string didn't fade at first, resulting the Red electricity that was emitting on Oxob's hands, in result gave Oxob a higher difficulty of being defeated. GG ran off to his Golden Gauntlets. As while he was running, a powerfull strike of lightning hit his gauntlets, since his entire armor was created by his magical paint (within the pen) gave his gauntlets an afinity to electricity (for the time being). After that, Oxob then harrased GG, and since GG can't escape from it, he then had one choice, to face his demon. He quickly wear it as soon Oxob jumps, from the time they had a sumo wrestling (Just going to call that) Oxob tried to electricute GG, but GG's full body armor not complitelly nullifies all electrical attacks, but also Oxob's electricity gave GG's armor an electrical afinity (since his entire armor is magical and the elecricity that Oxob has was upgraded). With the help from the pen upgraded lightning and GG's electrical gauntlets, GG is now at a point to where he's equally powerfull to Oxob. Sorry for the long explaination, but I hope you can understand....
Light drizzle doesn't and cannot extinguish a large fire on its own
Gildedguy redirected Oxob's electricity towards him. That wasn't his own power.
Oxob was crippled so obviously he'd be weaker in this state. At the same time I'm pretty sure Gildedguy was a pretty good fighter with enough technique. The problem is, Jade was faster than him AND had her weapon unlike Gildedguy, Bog is a literal monster acid slime who craves for bloodshed, and therefore cannot be defeated by mere weapons alone.
WTF Gildedguy! Oxob is trying to help.
well oxob thought he was injured more than GG so I guess gg is just pissed?

Looks like oxob found the perfect rival that goes the same as gildedguy as well
