The commentary hate that puzzle level got was irksome. I thought it was a cool puzzle that revealed mechanics, hints and problems while being played. I get not enjoying it for super expert though.
Completely agree, I make exclusively one screen puzzles myself and the beauty of them is there are very few surprises. Fair level and most everything had its purpose, even the spring clear condition to prevent the player from taking the pow to the key door. Felt like most of the critiques came from not figuring out the puzzle when he assumed he had it figured out, because stuff like p-switch timing or not jumping on the bomb, is still part of the puzzle. Great video regardless though, keep it up Royru! ❤
the only true issue I had with it was the coins on the left bumper, remove them and it's a little bit easier to understand what the POW was for. the de cheese of the pow for the clear con could have been made better, it was just a band aid to get the player to hold something else. but I can't say for sure there was any better way of doing it. besides, this is 3 years ago roy, current me is much nicer to these levels. at the time I was dealing with my father and it was harder to record so my stress levels were always high.
@@Royru I see, even decent puzzles can be inherently frustrating too so makes perfect sense. I also don’t love bandaid clear conditions but like you said, can’t immediately think of a better way either. Anyways, hope you are doing well and love the content 😁
I think the point of the spring is anticheese to prevent you from bringing the POW directly to the door.
