Wait he’s not allowed to claim that he brought an AR to protect property?
@@tylermoc2658 Ah yes because it was illegal for him to go to the riot with a rifle? But it was fine for the other people to be there?
And when I say non-combatants, I meant that he was there trying to be an EMT and EMTs or medics or whatever you want to call them, usually call themselves non-combatants when chaos goes down.
@@tylermoc2658 The funny thing is that you're the one being aggressive. I asked two questions. You come back and call me aggressive. I can't imagine what kind of reply that disagrees with you that you wouldn't call aggressive. You should learn to take your own advice first before giving it to others.
Bringing a gun to a riot is not suspicious. It's for self defense. To call it suspicious is misstating the situation at best and motivated lying at worst.

What’s Up with everybody having guns? 😂 That’s messed Up this whole thing. Kyle seems cool tho, i get What he did
We have a right to bear arms which SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
Nothing he has to say explains why he was there to begin with, with that weapon.
What are you trying to say
He doesn’t need to explain why he was there. That’s his right. It isn’t relevant at all. If he was planning on killing people or to go on a killing spree he would’ve done so earlier. You’re premise is false due to the fact that it has no relevance with anything. He doesn’t need to explain why he was there, however if you actually watched the trail you would get an understanding of why he was there. Despite all that it’s his right to be there.
It’s his right there is no need to explain why he was there with a weapon
He was actually there to administer first aid and was hired to protect the shop of someone there also he had a weapon for 1. He had the right to and 2. I would to if I was going into a city full of rioters destroying shops just like the one I’m there to protect
W
36:42
36:46
yes kyle you did very well.
that kid had to maraton run the series Suits before going to trial
What happened
It's quite easy to craft your story once you have reviewed all the footage available and fit around what can and cannot be proven. The advantages of getting bail and lots of practice with mock juries.
Kyle said he wasn't recharging his gun before shooting Grosskreutz in the arm, but when you look at the video footage, there definitely is a motion that suggests that he is doing just that. I honestly think that neither Grosskreutz nor Rittenhouse intended to shoot the other. Both was just an interpretation/misinterpretation of body language: Grosskreutz having his hands up in the air, Rittenhouse recharging his rifle, Grosskreutz interpreting this as Rittenhouse wanting to shoot him, he puts his arms forward, still having the gun in his hand, Rittenhouse shoots.
I don't know -- I still don't think the kid should have shown up with a rifle and play cop to "protect property". He doesn't know how to use a weapon responsibly and pulled the trigger as soon as he gets attacked. At no point does it seem like anyone was trying to kill him, but just to take the rifle away from him and he gets scared for his life, doesn't think, and shoots.
I don't think this is murder and that he was looking to shoot people that night, but he sure used the weapon on people when he didn't have to.
that’s exactly what I was thinking too
how would he know that the guy wasnt trying to kill him in the moment. the guy could have been trying to take the gun in order to attack kyle.
Kyle literally just explained that recharging the gun would have lead to a bullet being fired from the gun, and since a bullet was not fired on the video evidence it’s clear he did not recharge the gun.
Also this whole “playing cop” argument is so not based on reality. He was not enforcing any laws, he was not trying to stop rioters from rioting so to speak. He was not policing anything. He was simply standing between the rioters and a specific private property, and if the occasion arose, he tried to extinguish fires and offer medical help. If anything he was playing EMT or firefighter. The rifle was simply to protect himself while doing so. There is a clip from that night where Kyle explains to an independent media source that he was running into danger to offer medical help and that he had his gun to protect himself.
@@Slightly_Classy Sure need an AR-15 for that, eh? I don't know why you'd want to protect someone else's property and run the risk of having to use the rifle in self-defense.
Iets GO D.A. Binger!

Nope, completely legal
who else high asf rn?
Lol, me
The judge definitely high
He shot ppl wow
What about the two dead people
there dead
We’re smoking their pack
It was Rittenhouse’s reckless foolishness as a 17-year-old who chose to play volunteer lawman amidst a hostile crowd while toting an AR-15 rifle - a gun he was too young to own - that ultimately is the cause of getting those people killed.
But nobody foresaw the need to create a law covering underage vigilantism, and, as a result, an acquittal would result in his trial sending a message that his actions were OK.
Rittenhouse would then be allowed to go through the rest of his life believing exactly what he said on the witness stand: “I didn’t do anything wrong. I defended myself.”
The fact remains that Rittenhouse had no business being there that night. Without him in the equation, nobody is dead.
They were surrounding him and beating him til he tripped. It was self defense idiot
If you had an option for a gun or bare fists in a fight against 4 people with weapons meaning to hurt you what would you choose
You're right. He shouldn't have been there. BUT, he had the same right as everyone else there. He also had the right to carry the rifle. Sure, he was too young to "own" the rifle but the rifle wasn't in his name so he didn't own it. He DID, however, have the right to carry the rifle as long as it wasn't concealed.
And saying he "had no business being there that night" has nothing to do with anything. He probably shouldn't have been there. But that gave no one else the right to attack him like they did. It's funny that you would talk about him as if he was the one playing vigilante when it was an entire mob of people who decided to take the law in their own hands; not Rittenhouse. No action he took that evening gave anyone else the right to attack him. Using your excuse to justify the actions of his attackers is like saying "she had no business wearing that dress".
Agreed
Look at the folks in these comments. Absolutely no racial issues at all.
I'm not sure why you're trying to bring up race in this. In fact, the only person involved who said anything racist was Joseph Rosenbaum, who, according to multiple people, yelled the N word at others that night. He was shot after attacking a kid with a gun.
@@stoicsquirrel I guess you didn’t read the part about me scrolling through the comments.

@@AliciaAmbrosia sure. I saw a couple comments like that. I'm not sure how a couple of comments gave you a "sense of the tribe". If you see a few comments and that makes you think everyone else is like that, too, you might be the racist.

Worldwidepapi do the crime do the time
It’s his job to explain what’s going on if you weren’t such a Libtard anti-Second Amendment anti-America you would know that all lives matter and if you were being attacked you do the same thing so get off your soapbox
@@richarddillard2417 so it’s anti American to not support him for purposefully going to a protest with an illegally owned firearm, shooting people who weren’t doing anything violent until he took out his illegally owned firearm, and then cry it was self defense? I’m a republican and I support the second amendment fully, but that’s not what this is. This man wasn’t defending himself, he intended to do what he did and I’d say that’s pretty obvious.
It was already established that he was trying to put out a burning car when they attacked him and he ran away from the situation and they followed him that’s not intent that’s self-defense He’s not on trial for having a firearm he’s on trial for killing people and there’s a difference between killing somebody and being a murderer
Killing people is just not right no matter what
That’s pretty narrow thinking there is always exceptions. For example abuse victims, kidnapped survivors, self defense.
@@KevinHunt003 nope kill I still wrong if nobody killed any body no one woud have to die
@@KevinHunt003 an eye for an eye if someone abused you or violate you that doesn't give you the right to kill it only gives you the right to violate and abuse them back .. I believe judgment should be given out equally not matter the cause if you killed someone out of anger then you must be killed in return if you crashed someone's car then you should pay for the damage an eye for an eye
@@wippitywine2 that sounds like crazy talk, eye for an eye. if kyle didnt shoot, he might have been dead today, and it was either him, or the other guy. kyle saved his life at the expense of the other guy. you cant just wait for the other person to inflict damage on you and then equally repay, you have to act and defend before they are able to hurt you.
@@wippitywine2 and that is a stupid idea. people die for way more reasons than getting killed. people get disease, people get old
