  • The "All Azimuth Debate: Gradual Reform or Revolution? Pathways to Global IR" was organized by the İhsan Doğramacı Peace Foundation Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Research, in collaboration with the Bilkent University Department of International Relations, on October 2, 2024 at Bilkent University.
    The thought-provoking debate featured Prof. Ayşe Zarakol and Prof. Ersel Aydınlı, moderated by Asst. Prof. Seçkin Köstem. The discussion explored alternative pathways to Global International Relations (IR), examining its definition, potential directions, and the advantages and disadvantages of integration, incorporation, and revolution. Additionally, the conversation addressed the roles of various actors and venues in promoting Global IR, the impact of language on scholarship, and the challenges of incorporating Global South perspectives into the global discourse and academic practice.
