this is fantastic!!! I'm Brazilian and here we use Audaces to make patterns, so using adobe illustrator to this has never crossed my mind!!! thank you so much
What is "Copy Front"? I'm trying to see where your mouse is moving to, but it's small and grey. I'm trying to learn how to grade using Illustrator but I think that many people forget that they need to teach each step. Very frustrating when knowledge is assumed.
"Copy Front" refers to the keyboard shortcut Ctrl or Command + F in Illustrator. I understand your frustration, and I apologize for any confusion. This video is just a glimpse into my personal grading process in Illustrator, and it doesn't cover all the necessary steps or details. For a comprehensive understanding, I recommend checking out the full module on grading in Illustrator available in my course. It delves deeper into the subject, covering everything from the mathematical aspects to other crucial factors that need consideration. I hope this helps clarify things for you! Let me know if you have any further questions.
New Sub..i loved this...kindly make a vedio on how to grade pants on AI...quick tip to move instead of using transform..you could use(control +shift+M) it works for me.
This shirt is different because it only grades out and down. When you are grading a normal basic block, for example, you will also need to be changing the neckline and arms eye. Which part did not work for you?
