He has some nice footwork and he punches straight but at this stage of his career he's mostly wrestling and turning his head where he thinks the other guy's head is going. He's getting his consistently with lead right hands. That's a red flag.

They should subtract points for holding...phew, that was exciting...I dare say I missed a lot but when there is a doubt the title holder should probably retain the title...So obviously there was no doubt and I concur Ruiz is a worthy new champion. Maybe the judges took more notice of Holyfield's tendency to hold on than I thought they would.
