Yes! Love this! Usually by the time I tell him what's made my short list, he says 'it sounds like you already know which you should go with.' And then I realize he's right and I just needed someone to listen while I worked it out aloud.

My husband makes all decisions based on the price. His solution is to just spend the money. It comes in clutch when i feel hesitant to spend money!

Seriously, how do you get him to even give an opinion? My husband literally says, “ You were the teacher, you have done all the research, and I hated and sucked at school. I trust you 100% so choose.” He does this for homeschool, church, medical care, food, decor, my car, finances, etc. I literally have decision fatigue and he just won’t give an opinion. He He trusts me way too much and got used to me making all the home decisions before we had kids, and even after. But I have so much more on my plate with 3 kids and medical issues that I am trying to learn to be submissive and give more of a voice to him and he now runs an equipment rental business and is brain dead working all possessions of the business 6 days a week that he doesn’t want to participate in my mental load. About the only thing he will do research on and make decisions for our big projects that he will be fixing and homestead stuff he handles.

I remember a couple of years ago when I asked for my husband‘s opinion on what he was seeing in our homeschool and he gave me some amazing advice about getting our kindergartener (at the time) to try to do some of his work more independently. It was a game changer for me and something that had not even crossed my mind. I love the new perspective they can provide!!

Brilliant! Of course he should have an opinion. “They’re his kids too”. 💯 (I’m just glad my husband didn’t care about house colours & design when we burnt a house😂)
