There is however one thing you neglected to do, those aluminum wheels on the front, and the fuel tanks, really need to be polished, then you'll be finished.

DP would have tweaked that exhaust....all them clean straight lines then this weird squiggly exhaust just don't look right

Copon epoxy industrial coating and she will outlast your children. How to repurpose an old dump bed? Did that mack truck help start your business? I wish I was there with you making dreams and money! I'm old now and watching you and yours having so much fun working makes me so jealous! I know! Make the old bed into a sand spreader bed with a screw and wheel scatter road cover bed! Maybe on a motorized trailer? If I had your resources I would build everything I could think of. You are so blessed. I ramble on because my keyboard doesn't always work on UA-cam. Thank you. I like that top edge on the upper 'boards' that won't hold smalls like a flat surface does. I have never seen that. My son's good friend runs a dump truck business, I'm going to make sure he sees that. One less place to drop a windshield cracking stone from on the road... SMART! 👍👍👍👌

Backing the Mack out of the shop... Then sitting still and crank the steering wheel.. That is so hard on the steering gear box, tires, king pins, trod ends, frame twisting and all.. Imagine how mush stress that is putting on everything with a load on.. You have a great bunch of guys and a very nice shop.. I enjoyed seeing all the first class work you did on this box change..

Great job on your Dads truck. I was surprised you dressed it up with new wheels and no baby moons. D P wouldn’t like it. There isn’t mud on the floor and you can actually see out of the windshield. As always, thoroughly enjoy your videos.
I had a 74 R model years ago. Or better known as a “1 stack with a window in the back”. When I sold it there was well over 1,000,000 miles on the truck. It was still being used in 2014.

The bed looks good 👍, but what happened to the three pieces of metal for the tailgate before painting. Need to polish all the aluminum. Great job to all.
I'm getting to believe this is the shop that the saying. "Do it right, or don't do it at all". came from. Very skilled workers and nice job . From the steel beams in the concrete for 70ton M1 tanks can drive on, to a very organized and clean shop to the super quiet ceiling fans. If there's a trade technical school around, you might want to do work base learning. From, painting, welding, fabrication, contractor license, business operation, auction dealer to class A truck driving. Start out with a class field trip. They would love to visit your shop.👍

Clint your bringing back old memories with that nice old Mack truck. My first new one was 1985 RD688ST 350 12 speed. Many years later we sold our business we had 28 Macks i believe many of then low miles but tons of hours as we hauled crude oil and produced water from the single well oil tanks to the main facilities. Usually 20 minutes or so load and unload at 1200 rpm. I had 40,000 hours on one engine before it had an in frame done on it. Our maintenance program made units long life before they were wore out. Did hurt that we had 7000sq ft of shop with in floor heat at 60F either in the-30 degree days. We did it all in our shop from tires to in frames…love the video if you happen to know of any old Macks around that are restored like in the fifty’s send me a message.
