Thanks for your kind comments. With regard to looking for a first Cafe Racer project, I would advise going for a mainstream model, such as the CB750. That way finding parts will be easier, and there will be more choice. I would also recommend going against what I have done, and getting a running bike, that way you will only have to worry about the cosmetics. Don't be too proud to use ideas that you have seen other poeple do, or to use off the shelf custom parts, and don't decide to try to do things nobody else has tried for your first build.

I like what the previous guy did to the tank. When it's painted it's going to look amazing. I don't know the market for these old Honda's in England but the previous owner probably spent close to a grand on new electronic and rear shocks.
Yeah it's a really cool idea he had. I think the parts cut from each side have simply been swapped around so they are inverted. Must've been bloody hard getting them, to match. The filler cap is a bit more classic looking too. It's a shame the rest of the tank is quite battered and tatty, but I'm sure I'll be able to finish it off nicely. :) Unsure about the colour at the moment though.

@@SPANNERRASH I restored a CB750K6 over about 15 years - every nut and bolt replaced and now looks like it did the day it came out of the factory. I've got boxes of bits accumulated over the years that I'll never get around to selling on eBay so let me know if you're struggling to find anything - and if I've got it it's yours.

What size tires are on the front and rear if u don’t mind and nice find nice bike and great videos
They are the standard 3.25 by 19 on the front and 4.00 by 18 on the rear. I think you can get metric equivalents.
