I have a remot control phantom 2 new version 2.4Ghz, i want bindings to my phantom 1. Roughly whether it can be in bindings or not?

When i press the button on my phantom 2v it doesnt change colour it just stays red and continues to blink. Does that mean i need a new receiver board? Thanks for your time.
