Such a joy to see you, your voice and smile just gives me the trust I need and the hope I need to get well. I have suffered with Graves’ disease which when I gave up wheat and juiced resolved. But there has always been an under lying something going on. Listening to you I feel like my body is still in auto immune condition. I have never had blood pressure issues but covid did something to me, my gut, my blood pressure. No doctor was able to help me. They put me on three blood pressure medications. I worked at healing my microbiome and was able to get off the blood pressure medication. Recently it has returned but not like it was. I am doing your smoothies, gave up meat, dairy, inflammatory oils. Hoping and praying for true healing not masking the disease. I think it might be an autoimmune disease that affects the collagen, connective tissue perhaps. I will let you know how the healing goes so that others will be encouraged too and not live with no hope of getting well. Love you dear Brooke.

I know it’s difficult to help a loved one. Especially when you might be more motivated than they are. I would start here on UA-cam with the mastering diabetes boys. They are both PhD nutritionist. They are both diabetic. They’re diet works, very similar to Dr,Goldner’s, I would do the mastering diabetes plan with 100% green light foods. Their plan has green light yellow light, red light green light only and you should see positive results. Also look up Dr. Baxter from the Montgomery wellness clinic on UA-cam, very similar diet as well. He is a cardiologist.
Oh no, I just heard her say not to use powder protein powder. I’ve been adding organic plant based protein- no sweetener. I’m just hyper nourishing… I’m healthy … can I still use it ?? Opinions?
Hi Everyone, I hope someone can answer my question ❓.. I have been on the program for almost 4weeks.. I haven't been perfect but 95% of the time I have been on point. Unfortunately on week 4 I got a major flared up. Lower back pain like never before. So extreme that I can't stand or walk for very long and had to take off work. I'm just wondering why this happened especially when I'm eating the healthiest I have ever eaten in my life.
The good doctor always talks about being meticulous with the program if you are still healing. That even one out of pocket meal can undo weeks of progress. I hope this helps, I wish you all the best. I know 100% is difficult. I’m in the same camp. The time for 95% is after healing during the maintenance phase.
