Taupe is usually pronounced (tope) amongst English speakers... as amongst the French*, from whose language it comes to us. Taupe is a noun that means "mole", in origination, used by the French to also name the color of other things in the world that are the same or similar color. It has since been used to describe a variety of brown/ish shades by the English-speaking world at large.
Ahh, now I can relax and tell you how Wonderful I think your video is, and what a great teacher you are. It's a trade-off, we teach each other...We share what we know. I really like that twisty-braidy thing. It is the most interesting join I have ever seen and really appeals to me period I did something like that on a blanket I made when I didn't really know what I was doing and I don't even know how I did it now I would have to take it apart to figure it out and I really don't wanna.
    * (albeit in a way that sounds as though they are sucking lemons and forrshortens the "au"/O sound - worse yet or the translators that pronounce the first part of the word the same way but then add an extra syllable by pronouncing that E as though it were the last part of Renée)
