Great review of a chunky ripper. That does have some big motors for a 3.6 inch build. I built the 3.5" Grinderino with 1507 3800kv motors I was worried were too much. They ain't 😁 I flew with the Gemfan 3630 props, they're more like racing props. Really fast, fun. Happy flying everyone. 😎
Just got the walksnail version of this. Absolutely love it with Tatu 1200 v5 lipos and is definitely heavier than my 5" quadmula. Only sucky part is the WS pro camera sticks out and will definitely be a problem in the future. Really stable and fast.
Great review. Nice 3.5 nch flyer. It "looks" a little bit heavy, but flys quite nice. Nice frame design, easy swapp of broken arms. Thanks for the review.
I recently bought this thing and as someone who has very little fpv drone experience but has spent way more money than I should have I love it! thing feels like it has more power than my mark5 🤣🤣
Great review as always I have the 5 inch manta getting ready to build it 3.5 looks like a good little ripper and I'm sure you could lose a few grams with all the extras that are on it
How does it sound compared to a 5" and other 3.5"? I would love something with more power than like a Babyhawk or AOS 3.5 but less disruptive than a 5" in terms of loudness.
I can recommend the 1604s from t-motor for a mid heavy 3.5 build… have them on the volador 3.5 frame and they are really silent and have plenty of power for freestyle… only downside is the props are in view with the O3… I‘m thinking about switching the whole setup to this frame

Im new to the fdv drone hobby and i just got the manta 3.6... to my surprise after trying to contact axisflying they told me that the c224 2750kv motors are discontinued!! I wanted to order some so I can have some spare parts. Can someone help me with what motor can I use? Will different motors mess with the configs and flying of the drone? Unfortunatly I dont have this kind of knowledge! If someone can help me that would be really appreciated!

Yes, these props and this whole setup is VERY fast. The area I flew this in was WAY TOO SMALL!
I love how the Diatone Roma F35 of the past has opened the doors for these big motor 3"-4" freestyle quads.

I wish more drones were available PNP so I can add my own o3. I don’t need so many o3’s but I want a lot of different types of drones.

It actually is very heavy... basically a 5 inch with shorter arms. But this is probably the fastest 3.5/3.6 inch quad ever made.

A little less loud in intensity but the pitch is a lot higher and a bit more annoying.

I will bet the next sub250 quad your talking about is the Beta HX115 se 2s. I just got mine. Looks nice but have not flew it yet.

Man this one sounds great. I like the diatone 3.5" and this one seems even better. (Just didn't have the money)
I would agree this one is a better overall build versus the Diatone. Diatone still has not updated theirs for the O3 system either.

What's a difficult freestyle move you're talking about?
Things like matty flips and trippy spins. This is too heavy for the amount of power you get on a 4 inch prop versus a 5 inch prop.
