I never knew you could capture a church! Also as I've yet to properly play Red Alert Remastered (Still going through C&C Remastered) I couldn't help noticing that the new 3D Shock Trooper is definitely more distinct; it's a nice touch. I think in the original he looked virtually identical to the flamethrower infantry save for the yellow gun etc.
Yeah in original he WAS identical to Flamethrower just with the white changed to yellow. The infantry sprites were hand drawn and they're something like 400 frames each, so can't really blame them considering Westwood would have been smaller with less resources back then. Probably why he got some unique voices, to make him feel a bit more distinct from the flamethrower. Mostly it was only the non-combat infantry that got unique voices.

@Jonathon Coffey I'd be down for a game like that. You see rc1985, working out what the AI builds and where and when you can intercept the programming before it happens etc for speedruns and the like is OK, but a bit sneaky and underhanded. How well can you strike when everyone is prepared!!!! :D

I have an idea. After you build the service depot, is it possible to continue the normal way and sell the reinforcement vehicles? In this way you lose the advantage of having an air force and navy early in the game, but you get to have mission accomplished with a working base and the phased transport intact.
why on earth was this level so hard in the remastered version???? ended up without the potential to finish the cruisers off and i tricked my way to victory by force firing near the land of the cruuisers and it deal some minimum damage pheww
Its not difficult at all. What i did was i took my time, explored the whole map, eventhough its tedious and had to sneak around. Then sniped most infantry i saw, then took out buildings and that large base (while keeping Volkov outside the enemy tank's guard radius). I left the objective buildning for last, and destroyed and started the timer when i was ready. Or you can use this method. :) I never used the engineers at all.

1. Nope, the method on Classic RA was caused by a glitch. Maybe they'll release an 'official' way to build it 2.
