I am hoping that Clawdeen gets the whole werewolf makeover. Bring that sassy, fierce, pack leader vibe she had in the original.
We need our Wolf in Chic clothing back!

“Kids, rethink your choices.”
😂😂😂👌
I have never been a fan of pink. My first customization was to paint my pink Barbie scooter turquoise when I was young. Then years later they came out with the blue Vespa and I was like “see… was that so hard?” 😅
Pink is Definitely A Choice
I like pink but I would never, even as a kid, want a sea creature type character to be pink. I’d want them blue or green.. you know.. like the ocean 😭 Pink doesn’t at all say “ocean” or “sea”. If anything it’s the exact opposite. The sea is blue.. calming and relaxing.. Bright bubblegum pink is intense and exciting, nothing like what we associate the sea with..
I think many girls grow to hate pink, not because they hate the color itself, but because it's forced onto them via EVERYTHING made for little girls having to be pink, and it's even gotten worse with stuff like gender reveal parties foisting pink upon girls who haven't even been born yet! Seriously, there are very few people on planet earth who want the same of any color on every item they own, so why do marketers think little girls want everything pink?
@@blondbraid7986 ironically, the only time I really wanted a little pink in my wardrobe and makeup was when I had my first baby girl. Maybe it was a side effect of social conditioning? Having had my early education in Montessori school, I can attest to the fact that children (of all genders) love realism in their toys. It is a value to their learning about the world around them to be able to play pretend with tiny real life objects.
i love orange-y, coral, warm pink colors, but i hate cool tone or purple-ly pinks like magenta
One of my favorite dolls from my memory as a child was my Ariel Barbie with a removable tail back in the 90s. Her tail was made entirely out of stretchy fabric and it was SO cool to little 5-year-old me lol that's what I was honestly expecting here, I love the idea of her tail being a sort of solid stand though! My only critique is that it seems a bit too thick and bulky for her small Monster High body but otherwise it's beautiful!
I remember that! We couldn’t afford the real one, so I got a knock off but I still loved it just as much. You’re right though, the stand aspect is awesome, & I’d’ve died for this beauty!
I definitely prefer the original Lagoona Blue, I think that you did a brilliant job making her look pretty. I'd love to see you try to turn her in the original Lagoona with the blue skin. Excellent concept
I think the issue was the amount of foil you used. I think the tail would have been better it it was a bit thinner and with a slight impression of her legs. It would seem more cohesive. Your mermaid tails in the past had more of a flowing shape and fit the rest of the look much better.
Great work otherwise! You always do what seems to be effortless makeup that I wish I could wear myself!
I was thinking the same thing, it was very bulky and stiff looking. But everything else was stellar!
If the tail was more form fitting, she wouldn’t be able to remove the doll from the hardened tail. The thickness of the plastic wrap and foil left just enough space to make Lagoona convertible. I do wonder if a semi-flexible clay, like cos-clay would have suited this project better. I still think she did a great job!
i was expecting maryna to make the removable tail with worbla with a slit up the back so you could pop the tail on and off. the apoxysculpt tail makes a great doll stand, though. :)
Yuppp I agree❤ was thinking it as she kept adding the foil
Perfect answer also too much volume hair
During the hairdo I had to say to myself: "Trust the process". Et voila, she's just perfect!
Same
This was such an improvement! Really agree with 'too many shades of pink!' also, thought you would change the hair colour, but the styling takes care of the yellow👍
I was loving the gold 3D paint and would not have changed it, especially because it would pick up on the gold chain from the handbag💛 like many others, I feel the tail looks big, but you would have had to cut the fins of her legs to make the tail more proportionate so fully understand doing it this way. As always you make the process look easy - a sign of true talent!
She could’ve made it out of liquid latex I’ve seen people on UA-cam make dolphins this way and it’s not as bulky and is proportional to the body. They are also removable.
Her faceup & new coloring look absolutely adorable! The outfit & fishbowl are so cute. love the creative way you covered the yellow hair. It looked so sweet! The tail has really cute accessories & the fabric design is perfect. I love everything except the tail being a bit too wide & heavy compared to her size. Rather like my own figure around the Holidays! 🍗🥖🍠🥮🍷😂 Thank you for sharing your process! I love coming here!
I like the new lagoona, but she would NEVER be lagoona blue. This is a whole new character for me. Also, loved the end result!! You managed to fit the elegant princess and high school teen into one doll!!! Beautiful 💗
I don't like the redesigned dolls - but you fixed her and made her look SO pretty! I love your videos, they make me happy. 😊❤️
absolutely love this repaint, you really upgraded the original doll so much!!
i definitely miss the blue Lagoona, the new Lagoona really doesn’t feel like herself anymore 😮💨
Wow you found out what a reboot is 🤣
Miss, she’s so beautiful! She’s truly one of the prettiest dolls you’ve ever made. I’ve always wanted to try doll customizing since you’ve inspired me with your incredible work, but I don’t know if I’d ever be able to do what you can. Then again, I’m sure you’ve been doing this for years in order to have that much control over your utensils. Truly remarkable work. ♥️
I love these pastel colors. When you covered the yellow hair, I was yes this is what she should look like. Great job as always!
Her face is one of my favorites you've done in a while!
Now I've watched the whole video and actually the whole doll is my favorite you've done in a while haha
I want a jellyfish purse for ME! This was just amazing! And you hid the hair so perfectly- just perfect!
I love the peplum around the tail so much! It’s really reminiscent of fish fins! And the emerald is so gorgeous! 💗💗
Always fascinated by the work, buy I think I'm mostly here to hear her say "soo preety". The more she says it, the happier I am. lol!
She’s stunning.I think her hair is adorable and her outfit looks great on her and those shoes are just gorgeous..I love her 🥰
I always love watching your videos! One thing that I think is odd is how thick the tail is compared to the rest of the doll’s size. I’ve seen this before in your other videos too. I still like the doll though!
I can agree, it kind of looks like she was shoved in a tube sock, but it still is an amazing looking doll otherwise.
I was thinking the same it doesn't look right
I agree, but since it is consistent I can assume her reasoning is to match how thin the mermaid waist is often drawn compared their hips. Ariel for existence. It's a bit much but I see what she's going for.
I think that's unavoidable in any situation where you're sculpting the tail around the original legs of the doll, particularly when there has to be enough wriggle room for the tail to come on and off.
Yeah that’s what I thought, it just looks really chunky
I love the eyes on this doll! The color pallette too. Your dolls have always been amazing, but it's been a joy to see your skills improve over the years.
I love every single detail in this doll, but those leggings and jellyfish bowl purse are beyond adorable!
She turned out super cute! Love the removable tale idea. If you get ahold of another of these Lagoonas, it’d be super neat to see you turn her into a dark/beautiful creature from the black lagoon for a Halloween special.
The new Lagoona doll looks super sunburnt! What an odd choice for a skin tone, you definitely improved her look.
The doll is just absolutely adorable. 😍 Just maybe one tip: the background for the presentation could have been more of contrast color, like navy blue or dark teal. In the current color palette it just merges with the colors of the doll's outfit.
She’s adorable! I totally agreed with you about her original hair and all the different shades of pink, but you really made something so cute out of it. Her hair ❤ her tail ❤ her tutu ❤❤ I love her. When you were making the tail fins and you had the black lines on it, I was reminded of stained glass. I would love to see you work that in with another doll. It was beautiful. Great work, as always. Love this channel so much. ❤
1000% better, love how this doll came out!! The accessories are always my favorite part!!
That fish bag is so cute!!! What a clever idea, and it matches the look so well! And a very nice job hiding that yellow hair, it is an odd color choice on the part of the manufacturer
absolutely in awe, she turned out stunning
She came out absolutely gorgeous!I love her casual style look, it's so fun and whimsical! and her hair turned out beautiful ❤️
She looks beautiful. I love that she can have legs or tail. I like the hair style you chose. The face up is so pretty especially the lips. Her purse is absolutely adorable. 🧜🧜♀️
I'm clueless when it comes to Monster High dolls but just from this prospective, 100% better. You never cease to amaze me of your talents. 😎👍
"Kids, rethink your choices" made me howl with laughter. 🤣👍💙 Much love! Beautiful doll rework as always!
I always love your doll transformations you have an extraordinary talent 🥰
It's a very pretty doll. She's the first doll I actually like freckles on.
The doll is beautiful, bit I also want to say Marina looks gorgeous with this wavy hairstyle! ❤️
I love how you took what I considered to be a mistake in the new design, and made an absolutely beautiful and unique doll! I love everything about her❤
You did a fantastic job on her. She looks 💯 better than she used to. Yes, they said they changed her colour because they asked the children who were their target audience. Anyway, she looks so much better.🥰
I think she might be one of the cutest dolls you've made ^^ the face, the hair...
You are 100% correct it’s all those clashing pinks that make the new lagoona hard to look at. Your lagoona is so lovely and the colors harmonize so beautifully
omg you really made her hair look super awesome!
Haven't even gotten past your video intro yet, but just had to tell you how lovely you are looking in this more neutrally-toned makeup. It suits you perfectly.
Such a beautiful creation. Love mermaids & doll repaints. Watching and listening is so relaxing, I watch & listen while cleaning. Beautiful dul doll.
The original looks like a beach girl in LA in the 80s and her bleached blonde hair turned green at the pool.
I love the redo!
I agree that she's way to pink. Some dolls seen to have little paint detail while others have much more. Thanks to you I have gotten good at rerooting and my grandmother taught me sewing. I thank you so so much for teaching and inspiring all of us to do our own doll recreations. I was able to repair my myscene doll I had since 2004.
wow the end Laguna looks waaaaaaaay better and so so so cute!! love everything about her, and the fish tank bag is such a great idea
I LOVE THE HAIR OMG! Definitely one of my favourites so far, AMAZING job! X
I love mermaids, so she is gorgeous!!❤
Omg I loved this project! I want more removable tail mermaids!!
I'd love to see something Christmasy. The Christmas dolls you've done in the past were so nice.
I like that the tail is stable and allows her to stand on her own. I personally think that to slim the tail down you could have removed the fins on her shins. The doll is still beautiful ❤️
I love that the video begins with a five minute SMACK DOWN on the new Lagoona design. We love to see it.
The finished doll is so cute! Especially with her cropped leggings.
I love it. The jellyfish purse is everything
Wow!!! I have watched this video several times, I have fallen in love with your art all over again🔥🔥🔥♥️♥️♥️💯💃💃💃🌹🌹🌹
I love your art style. Especially the realistic face up. Chefs kiss.
I'm always looking forward to the dresses your mom makes, but honestly you outshined her. You gave the amazing fabric the designs to become kick ass.
The only thing I don't really like is the shape of the tail. I love the idea and I can imagine it was quite difficult to build up the shape, but it looks a bit to much like a tube. It seems bulky compared to the rest of the doll. Additionally can I see your finger shapes.
I am impressed how you worked around that with the fins, the frills and those adorable stars.
Maybe next time you could sand down the Apoxy or work with clay?
I still think you achieved your goal to make the doll prettier then the original. 100 out of 100
I don't why but everytime that I watch your videos every week, it kinda gives me this therapy and I love it. My favorite about this creation is the eye color. It's everything 😍
Ooo, I think this one is my favorite of the new dolls
Woah, she's awesome! 2 in one. I like her new pink skin tone with the pretty pastel colors that you used ♥
Oh my, she turned out beautiful. Amazing on how her tail looks, love it. Her hair also very nice. You are very talented.
I adore her and that jellyfish bag 💜
I absolutely love what you did with this doll! What an amazing transformation! You are so creative. ❤
Stunning doll makeover. My favourite so far ❤❤❤
She is beautiful, love her outfit is so cute
Kids, rethink your choices 😆 I'm dyin! I absolutely love your Lagoona. So perfect and beautiful
She's beautiful! I agree, the original Lagoona colour is better. You've made your Lagoona so much better! Love your work!
She’s beautiful!
We’ll done!👏👏👏I think this is my favorite makeover!😍😍😍
i really like this make-over. i agree--the new colors are just...off. the tail is so creative, and i love the fabric! but i especially love how the hair turned out--you kept the original hair but completely hid the ugly yellow with a gorgeous glamorous princess bun and curls. love it all!
That jellyfish bag is the coolest accessory I want one for me 😂😍
I've just rewatched this video and I love what you did with her even more than I did the first time! So cute and very clever with her whole look!
WAY BETTER THAT HAIR YELLOW BLAAA! you never let me down you always do such amazing work
I’m not sure why everyone says the tail is to thick, has no one seen how thick a koi is? Lol
Wasn’t sure about how you were planning to disguise the waist joint, but the little ruffle is cute! (Still saddened by the new MH molds, tho)
I love how she looks and I love how you gave her a side glance she’s gorgeous
I enjoy the spin of the tail - if we think about most standard dolls that comes as “mermaids “tails are either fabric of plastic. It’s not sturdy enough for the doll to be posed or stand in a pose that looks “mermaid natural” ! These dolls are sculptures, pieces of art, for a collection and it’s great to have a base and quality for dolls to last !
I do agree it could appear thick or bulky to us but we also don’t get the privilege of seeing any dolls first hand.
Maybe Popen you can experiment with fabric/ thermal plastics, and armature/thick wires - maybe points of bending and movement.
But every video of yours I watch, I think to myself what all can you do. Your painting the dolls face is so realistic, so you can draw, sculpt, sew, mold, resin, and so much more !! The skill set it takes to do such work is so inspiring. My daughter often wants to find an old doll to customize using markers for the face and “hair dye” and pipe cleaners for clothes. 😂
Thank you for sharing your skills and creativity with us & inspiring my child.
LOVELY DOLL, A GREAT IMPROVEMENT BY FAR!
Now this is what u call a true glow up👏👏👏✨✨❤️
Beautiful Work!!! I Love The Way She Turned Out!!!💙💖💙💖 Wow The Before And After Is Like Night And Day!!
Her hair is so much better! All of her is so much better!
Yes! This makeup suits the doll much more than the original one, both in style and colors
Great idea doing a removable tail!!! You made me think of the time I did a tail for my Barbies, it was of hot glue and board, I remember I wanted it to have texture so I did all the scales by doing little droplets and then painting all with acrylics XD it turned out pretty good actually
A huge improvement. Love this doll. It was one of your best makeover yet. Love your work.
Your channel is so uplifting and your extremely talented ❤ I was painting while watching, also an underwater theme 💧💙
this might be my favorite dolls you’ve done so far! i loved the outfit and the tail, the hair was so pretty and i LOVED her makeup ❤
She looks so cute!
A quick tip: when pressing down any sticky backed plastic, or anything where you don't want bubbles, use a folded cloth to do the pressing as you unroll it over the surface, it leaves a much smoother finish than just flattening with your hands.
Wow, I LOVE this makeover! ❤ Sooo much better than the original. And so amazing that she have both legs and a tail. Love love love it! ❤
She is amazingly beautiful
You done a wonderful job
Love what you did so unique then before.
She's fabulous! Great job on hiding the yellow hair too. Her face is super cute as well, really pretty!
That jellyfish purse is so amazing! And Lagoona's transformation is jaw dropping. Really enjoyed the video!
Very pretty design, the tank bag is my favorite, I have a jellyfish music tank, I love it
I love what you did with her hair!
Genius what you did with that hair!! Great job, thank you so much for posting such inspirational videos!
You never fail to impress above and beyond! I love this series so much
Love your makeover of her! It’s way more fitting for a mermaid! I would definitely buy this version of the doll that you did.
I am in *love* with the jellyfish handbag! A lovely makeover altogether.
I am not the biggest fan of the pink skin. It's not horrible, but the blue was better. What I could've done without was the blonde hair for both versions.
She looks much better with the make over.
man, they really dropped the ball with Lagoona's redesign.
basically all of it is worse than the old one.
at least you made her much better!
Gorgeous job Marina
Wow!! I love what you did with the tail. She is so beautiful
