Terrible front bumper. The stock oem bumper is way better.
Gotta love the OG look for sure, but we think it's a good bumper for people, looking to give the ISF a bit more of a modern touch 😊

I have had my 2010 ISF for almost a year and its a solid car, Fun to drive and the styling looks amazing. Have been tempted to update the front bumper to the new gen style. That look is kinda growing on me. And I can keep my stock bumper and swap back and forth when I want lol.

SUCH A HEAD TURNER OF A CAR
It’s a bummer that you guys are not able to review the IS500. I think you’d really like the whole package. It’s not as planted on the track as the ISF, because it’s not meant to be a track weapon. However…on the streets the IS500 is beyond amazing. We have the same 8speed transmission as the RCF, so it can be slow to downshift. If you get a Pedal Commander or do like me and drive 100% of the time in Manual & Sport S+, the lag is a non-issue. 😜 All the V8 goodness with the smooth ride of a GT car. Thanks for posting!

Hello Guys, I am interested in updating my 2008 is-f front bumper. I would like to know where and how much it cost. I love that awesome blue with the updated look.
I've had a 2012 Lexus IS-F for about 18 months now, the longest I've ever owned a car. Fantastic car, and you can always start it with peace of mind, knowing that you have insane reliability.
Why had ?
I'm 36 and this is my dream first car. Still working hard to can afford it. Such a master piece underrated. Funny thing i've never seen one in reality i guess that's the playing field in Africa. In my world it's worth it.
The isf shifts at .15 Mila sec...one of the fastest shifting transmission ever...how is that outdated...make sure you have it in sport mode and on manual shift...

Loved owning my 2008 ISF for the last 3 years. Daily drive it and redline it every day (once warmed up). Normal maintenance and you’re good to go 👍🏼
How fast does it shift?

@@ratedm90 I’m sure not the PDK but it’s damn close if you know how she likes to drive. I’ve learned how to shift the transmission really well since I’ve owned it, a lot of car reviewers say they hate the transmission but mostly because they don’t know how to use it properly honestly. It’s no dual clutch in terms of speed but for 2008 I’m pretty sure it was one of the fastest, if not the fastest in its class. Also, it’s kind of aggressive and clunky in the best way. It shifts hard sort of why people like the Aventador now because it’s clunky lol

Had my ISF for 3 years to the day. I won't ever sell it.
@musoui I've had mine for 3 years as of a couple of days ago. I bought it with 112k miles for 15.5k and now it's got 150k miles on it.
@musoui I just got hugely lucky when I bought mine. The 2010 has that LSD though... That's my next mod. It's pretty much my last mod, too. I've got FBO and a few other goodies but that LSD is definitely something I'm going to get.
@musoui So I bought the ppe headers for 1800 when on sale and got the tune with it for 500 as a package deal. Got the HPS elbow for half off from another guy that was staying stock and sold his new studd he never put in.... Then the Joe Z catback was already on the car when I bought it so I got super lucky there. And when you do damn near all the work yourself you avoid that labor cost. I have less than 22k in my car including all the parts and little stuff here and there too.

It's a Lexus a Toyota product that's why it's belt better than a BMW M3 and Mercedes BENZ C66 It might not be a fast as the German cars but you could use the car as a daily driver not sure you can do it with the German car so I would have the ISF over the other two

Won't sell mine! Beast of a motor. Make it lighter and ditch the factory headers, exhaust and get it remapped, and you won't look back.

Hey there - I just got one off BringATrailer (2nd to last one sold). Can I ask what exhaust you went with? Seems to be less options nowadays vs the glory years of 2009 :). I don't need a tune or headers (I hear headers make it real loud), just a bit louder than stock would be nice.
@VersanGetryx hey. I'm in the UK so we have Hayward and Scott that still build OEM looking systems (based on OEM tips). The PPE headers go straight into that system with no issues. It's loud on cold start, but my plan this year is to have the exhaust system valved. Now the headers are installed, I can work forward from there.
@@rich_isf9043hi mate, how’s the drone with the PPE + H&S exhaust? Did you go with the X pipe or without? Your ISF sounds killer
@ItzJ99 it doesn't have an x pipe. So both banks are seperate all the way to the tips. It does and doesn't drone. With the sound deadening in the Lexus, it's never really that bad. It's all down to what you prefer I guess. I drove 8 hours to Scotland last year with a mate, and we talked and chilled all the way up without it being annoying or even really noticing it.
Those are aftermarket vland v1 headlights and front bumper conversion kit...vlands look quite good, but the bumper is terrible. Oem isf bumper is way better.
And again...tailights are not "facelifted". Those are vlands v1.
