Tutorial: How to make a Zealot voice from starcraft

- I was quite a big fan of starcraft 1 and 2, and in particular with the race protoss, so I decided to remake the zealot voice! This tutorial will globally show you how to make a zealot voice sounding almost like the zealot from starcraft, All in Audacity!
Audio in audacity was recorded by windows and the voice over with my Samsung galaxy S4.

I just have to give you a HUGE shoutout. I've run D&D for 10 years now, and when I said: "This creature speaks you psychically with an echo-reverb in your mind, like the Protoss..." One of my players said: "What's that?" So I knew that I wanted to show her some dialogue from the NPC in-character with the voice effects and your tutorial was PERFECT. Thank you so much!!

You've done an excellent job figuring out a voice modulation similar to what they used for the zealots from SCII! I also note you've done a Goliath (SCI) tutorial. Now I'm curious; do you think it likely that you could make a tutorial on the Protoss Dragoon from SCI? I've been trying to recreate it on my own for some time, but it's always too bass-y (partly my voice). The hardest part for me is recreating the liquid sound that the voice has (given that the dragoon is a fallen Protoss warrior submerged in a life-sustaining fluid of some sort). My thought was to take a sample, use a modulation to emulate a Protoss voice (as you've done in this tutorial), create that liquid sound under it (for the body in the fluid), then lastly to give it a robotic tone. As I believe the voice is supposed to be coming from the Protoss' body, traveling through the liquid, and then transmitted through the exoskeleton and reproduced on the other side, I believe this would be a workable effect, I'm just not sure how to achieve it. Thoughts?

Well, that was impressive... I've remembered Twin Peaks movie... and the voice of the little midget... well, he was talking backwards somehow! I thing it is the same sound effect it was used for Protoss voices!

May I use this for my game? I am recreating the game from the Carbot april's fools video Blades of Justice. I want to use this as the guiding voice for the zealot. Btw amazing work. The echo before the word is even spoken makes it so much more realistic.
Can you use this for skype or teamspeak?
You would need to pre-record all of this and play it into your microphone.
