    Ana's accent and pronunciation = perfect , i could say she is from a english speaker country , although she is brazillian , i like how even Shallen has troubles to say some of these words and not afraid of say it anyway , good video

      Our language is Portuguese, so we have malleable phonetics, which is why we are generally able to imitate different pronunciations and sounds of foreign languages

      ​@@Satiro-py2neThat's not it at all, Portuguese phonetics sound nothing like English. The Brazilian accent is easily recognizable when a Brazilian learned English as a teenager or as an adult

      As a Brazilian, I can't speak without gestures as well, and people always laugh at me because it's not too natural for us... maybe I should've been born in Italy or Japan :(

      kkkkkk mds... vamo lá amigo, 1 dessas supostas línguas é a língua nativa dela, Português, outra é Inglês, que de fato ela fala bem, agora muito provavelmente nas outras ela nem fluente deve ser, e se for, deve falar de uma forma bem básica e iniciante. Não é porque a pessoa é boa em UM segundo idioma que ela vai ser em qualquer outro tmb, ou que ela vai ter o mesmo grau de fluência em qualquer outro plmds...

    Good job by everyone. Good choices for twisters too, heavy on the "w". I have to believe for a lot of people where English isn't their first language, they spend extra time figuring out the mouth shape for that letter, and saying it often and quickly can be kind of fatiguing for the mouth, and a person gets tripped up.

    I've always thought that "the sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick" was considered to be the hardest English tongue twister, so I was a bit surprised it wasn't on this list today. Another one that's surprisingly difficult is simply the words "Toy boat." By itself, no biggie, but repeating it several times quickly makes most people stumble.
    I was very impressed by everyone's lingual dexterity though. They all did very well!

    Not surprised the swedish girl had troubles with "wetter weather", we don't have any sound even close to "th" in swedish so that one takes a bit of concentration.
    But also. Are most of these really tongue twisters? Seems like most of them were just repeating sounds so you would forget how far into the sentence you were.

    A versão portuguesa dos pratos de trigo é mais difícil que a brasileira.
    Havia três pratos de trigo, vieram três tigres e comeram os três pratos de trigo.
    (depois também há a dos "três tristes tigres", que sai sempre "três tristes trigres")

    Ana is an outlier, she lived in US, but regular native Brazilians wouldn't be that good, acent always appears... but that apply for any not native English-speaking country. Ana's pronunciation is flatless!

    That first one is not correct. It should be "She sells seashells by the sea shore". Otherwise, it's not even a tongue twister.

    The most difficult ones for me are the short ones that you have to say multiple times quickly, such as Red Leather/Yellow Leather and Toy Boat.

    I would've refused to say "she sells seashells by the seashore". I'd rather say "she sells seashells at the market-square" or something like that because it'd be more profitable than "by the seashore" where they are literally free. It would no longer be a tongue twister but still. 😝

    Hadn't heard of a couple of these and here in the uk it's "she sells seashells" rather than sally. Really surprised not to see Peter and his Pickled Peppers on the list and I would've loved to see a couple of movie references too. The great "Moses Supposes" from Singing in the Rain or this one from the criminally underrated Oscar: "Rocco the Rum-runner rubbed out Rico the Rat with his Roscoe for robbing his Rum-running receipts."
