Your videos are awesome. Building a ej257 as we speak, and I’m referencing your whole build series. Thank you for being so thorough!!
One of the very finest tutorials for Subaru out there! Thanks a lot for all this precious info!
Thank you so much for taking your time to put this up. Really learning a lot and referncing these videos for my EJ20 build. thank you.
No problem 👍
@@cruizinmax4017 can U tell is it must be an OEM belt and pulley and all things, in my country oem set is 1700$ and that is little too much for me, can I put continental or dayco or it must be an oem sry if I misspel something, not fron englist soeaking country.
Bes videos
Using this a my reference throughout my build. wish I had that torque wrench, she's a beaut!
There is a reason the Company23 tool is a big seller when it comes to timing belts
did you use any Loctite for the tensioner bracket bolts and what torque do you torque them to for the top 2 and bottom bolt.
these videos are so good man
I never use loctite for those bolts but theres always white residue on the top 2, I think its because they are exposed on the other side, meanig its a through and through hole on both, use blue if you want to or some kind of sealant, torque is 18.1 ft.lb.
Question how do you know that all your timing marks are lining up? Did you have to put the camshaft a certain way whenever you installed it or do the bolts for the sprockets only go on if its lined up correctly?
I explain and show all of that in the video
@@cruizinmax4017 I must have missed it I'll watch again.
