🆘👋 HI.HOW DO I KNOW I NEED TO CHANGE TRANSMISSION OIL👋🆘
Hello! I have a 2009 Audi A4 that has been sitting and not been started since April 2023. Apart from the battery, what should I expect to discover (potential oil leaks from dried seals?) I had a motor overhaul in April 2022 most parts including the cylinder head were replaced so the seals only have a couple thousand miles on them. Therefore what should I inspect and do before I attempt to crank it up? I left it with a full tank of gas, added some Stabil Fuel Stabilizer in April 2023.
if it sat in a dry place then you should be just fine to crank but not start. U may have smoke every start up since the valve seals got pretty dry, but i wouldnt worry about that.
It seems my BLS engine (VW TDI PD105) is very simple, but she sweats. I just diverted my crankcase vent away from my turbo
N/m or ft/lbs
ft/lbs
Did not work
Opens from inside but not outside, the ball thing is in its place and pull but does not open
I don't have a jack like you do. This is hard work for a do-it-yourself. How much do mechanic shops charge the total price?
just remove the oil filter once you see oil come out of there put it back on and it should build pressure after that. there is an air bubble
I think next day measure temperature for same amount for new and old fluid and that’s it I think
Hi,why the brake become hard when turbo work engine get +boost?
Great video. No waste of time. Maybe just suggest glasses when working with springs and a mask when cleaning off brake dust. Thanks
You need to research how to check the transmission fluid. You’re teaching everyone the wrong way. You ran the car till the fluid is hot and checked it at operating temperature. That is the most wrong thing to do with the Toyotas. It has to be checked between 95 and 113F and no more or less. That’s a huge difference from what youve done here!!! Please take this video down so it stops people from ruining their cars. Which is for sure going to happen if they follow this video! 🤦♂️
So ure telling me that if that fluid was never changed and im putting exactly the same amount back, thats wrong? Its not wrong, its just a different way without wasting more time. By the way this car still drives on that same fluid without any issues and that same owner is still my happy customer. Now i understand where ure coming from, there is a procedure that under different situation, like a leaky trans or changing a trans line, I would follow the right temperature then check, but in this case i didnt have to.
Is there a way to charge the key battery start? If you look under, says charge for 72hrs… how or what to charge with?
a slow trickle charger
So did the input shaft repair work out well? Does the clutch engage easier now?
yes, still autocrossing on the same clutch
Hey bro just want to say thanks. It's all good to use cardboard or anything handy. My Rogue was doing the same thing again thanks and take care.
Good job max. Fixing it up nicely
good video man
This was a great video and I really appreciate it.
After drain let old fluids cool down to room temperature like the new oil then mess up
With tube adapter do you have to do the wire too ?
sorry, dont know, this was years ago.
best
Let's just do it. What about the other 90% of video
Im not sure what you are talking about, the whole video plays for me and theres no part 2. Its just one video.
Bro this the unimportant half of the video. The only thing I got from this whole video is your stupid ass saying the litllylyleee ballll came ouut and that was in the first minute 😂😂😂
These are great quality videos. I'll be using them in my build soon
Why is there just a part 2
You just saved me $1000 with this one
Mine isn't quite as old, but I do love it. Aluminum deck, super recycler. Did an engine swap a couple years back. Hope to keep it for the rest of my mowing days. They do not build them like this anymore! The new stuff is crap.

Thank you for this explanation. Your video is a time saver. I am about to try and repair a steel bike pedal and its aluminum crank. Your video with how to figure out the actual tap size was helpful so I did not have to buy all the extra parts.
Great video thanks man! This rogue has really been a terrible car
Hi, nice video ... I wanted to ask you if after installing the brake caliper, the helicoil holds well or you had problems, because I would like to do the same thing, thanks
it holds very well, i take this thing to the track.
Thanks, Because I would like to fit Brembo calipers on the S2000 but they have an M14 ear and I would like to use Helicoil to reduce the size to M12.
did you delete the pcv valve? And what about the crank/head hard line that equalises the pressures
the equilizer hoses are still there oem, no pcv, just vents into the atmosphere
I pulled on that cable and it worked thank you

Thats good oil.
Which exactly part number for this part?
I dont remember
For those who want a complete fluid exchange vs an approx 40% pan exchange: 1.) Remove the plastic shield under the front of the vehicle. Note, new assorted plastic push-clips are recommended. 2.) The radiator cooler transmission fluid out-fall is on the drivers side approx 3/4" OD, 3/8" ID rubber hose with spring clasp clamp. 3.) Disconnect the hose and attach an extension line to a translucent 1gal jug in an catch pan (for overflow/spills). 4.) The steel return line may drip into a second catch pan. 5.) Snuggly attach a clear extension line to the dip-stick tube with a funnel. (I inserted a clear plastic kitchen "baster" keeping the refill level from overflowing at top of the "baster"/funnel). 6.) Start the engine and put in gear (automatic) until approx 1/2 gal OLD is collected and turn off engine. 7.) Fill approx 1/2 gal NEW. 8.) Repeat for approx 2 1/2 gals until bright pink is dispensing. 9.) Reattach radiator/trans Return line. 10.) Adjust fluid level to the low side of the "Cold" mark on dip-stick (so you can top-off to the Hot mark). 11.) Drive vehicle until transmission is up to approx 115 deg. F and adjust fluid level to "Hot" mark. 12.) Reattach the plastic shield using new plastic push-pins. 13.) This should replace the trans, torque converter, and radiator cooler with All New fluid. Happy motoring!
Great video man, it was really helpful 👏🏻
Thanks for the heads up on the relay for the electronic throttle. Had a P2138 changed the pedal assy, and TB. Fault kept coming up. Ended up changing this Electric throttle relay and Main Relay. For some reason when trying to look it up on Subaru parts it comes up as a “diesel glow plug relay” had to find a service manual and look up the wiring schematic to make sure it was the correct relay since I only had 2 while using had 3 and the main relay was brown.
My car Toyota Yaris 2022 model was parked since 15 months. How I can star it. What precautionary action i need to take before start.
check oil before starting, pull an ignition fuse or fuel pump fuse or relay, or you can just disconnect the coils on top of the engine so spark plugs dont fire, crank until red oil light turns off, about 10 seconds should do it.
What fluid did you replace it with? I was considering using Valvoline trans fluid since it claims it can be used in Toyota's. The Toyota fluid is so darn expensive.
maxlife valvoline is good
Hi sir i got a class Mercedes 2014 1.6 petrol engine. Hissing sound coming from oil separator hose or the narrow one pipe sound coming Hissing please tell me whats that even i replaced the oil separator too but still doing Hissing sound and engine idile changing as well???
check for vacuum leaks
Hello, what was the reason for the BMW not starting?
Misfire and no communication from ECU.
And did the engine finally start?
no, it needed an overhaul, sold the car long ago, never had time to do it, or the space to keep it.
And did you change the ECU to the BMW to start?
no, i sold it as is
Hello there, I recently did a CV axle repair on my 2018 Rav4 XLE, I had about a 3/4 to 1 cup of trans fluid come out when I removed the axle. I knew I needed to replace the fluid, but had none at hand. I slowly tested it in my alley for issues and no noises or shifting interruptions. Since the oil leaked out and really have no accurate amount of fluid loss I want to just do a flush and replace before driving it again. How will I know how much to replace? Obviously will follow your protocol, but the losss of some of the fluid will create an innacurracy right?
yes but its not that important 1 ounce more or less
You have to remove those hex oil plugs. You will not get out the debris. You'll need oxy/acetylene heat around the plugs to melt the sealant. The machine shop should have removed them to clean the oil galleries.
This saved my day! Thank you so much for putting all the efforts into this brilliant video!
I know I am way late, but if my 2.5i heads are anything like yours, then I am less convinced that I have shot valve guide seals and just really trashed rings. I'll watch the rest of the videos even though it is a different engine
Sounds like a detroit 2 stroke. Love it.
What fluid to use
Original Toyota
I wonder if stick to 2 sizes up no matter what thread size tap you go for. For example. M6 tap for and m4 repair?
Most companies yes, but just get a set of taps from amazon, I paid $100 for a decent set.
