Awesome video! Glad you’re making videos. Thanks again for the info on installing the skid awhile back on the forum chat. It’ll be installed in the next week or two. I haven’t stopped riding long enough to do it!
Do you ride in woods? I would like to get one, but the extra width for where I’m at worries me. A regular ranger gets around fine here, just wondering how tight it might be
Thanks, we're trying to make it fun. I still have my 800 trail, great machine! When looking for the next machine, I weighed all the options/ The General is truely the best of both the machines you have. The cab space is great, hard to get close to with anything else.
Love the upgrades. I went with red rock lights and red dome light do you know or have you heard of anyway to change the blue internal accent light that comes stock inside the cab. Would love to change them to red?
I bought some eagle eye led blue lights and replace the stock blue accent lights. Can I get the part# and where you bought the Great Day gun rack please? I can't seem to find the exact one you have with both gun holders facing the same way up like I need. I seem to only be finding the ones that have one holder up and one down. Or did you modify yours??
Thanks, its been a work in progress. You won't regret getting one, they are great machines. I've been afraid to add it up exactly, but Its north of 30K
What windshield are you using? You said you fabricated the rack that attaches to the headache rack? Looks sweet! I’m getting mine within the next week, upgrading from a ranger.
Great job, thanks for sharing the video. I was wondering, where did you get the mounts for the light bar? I have the same machine and have had trouble finding a way to mount a lightbar.
Thank You! We are trying to make it fun. I purchase it from Amazon. It is the "Dasen for Polaris General 1000 2016-2018 42 inch straight/curved LED Light Bar" that should get you to the right mount
Considering selling my Kawasaki krx1000 to get me a general 4 seater I hope I don’t regret it live my krx but want a 4 seater I just like how the doors are on the General full doors no inserts and I do like that dump bed also we’ll see gonna miss my krx but just want a 4 seater the General seems like it will do me well for my needs
I haven't seen the KRX in action, but know they are capable machines. I got the 4 seat general because of the length and the seating capacity. My plan is to put 4" portals and 35s on it and wanted the extra length for stability. As you have seen from our channel, these General 4 seaters are very capable. Good luck with your decision.
That is not an easy question to answer. The Rzr is a trail 50" wide and has it purpose. There are many trails in the New Mexico mountains that are restricted to 50" wide or less. But if your talking about in general, The General is more capable on trails that it is not restricted from.
I use a Samsung tablet and enhance the internal GPS with a Garmin Glo2 GPS antenna and use Back Country Nav as the app. It works very well together. I also downloaded the maps for ruger area I ride at home with the wifi. The tablet I use is not hooked up to a mobile network

I used push pins and installed multiple grommets to secure it against the back fire wall. I'll make a video on how I did it. I used the same method on my Chupacabre door bags
@@justinharrod4276 the door bag video was just published! for dome lights I used some COB LED strips. I put on some ICE Blue and some white ones. Just stuck them to the ceiling and ran the wires. It was pretty straight forward.
I heard nothing but good stuff on gilomen, Very pleased with it! If you look on their website he has a list of benifits you get from the tune. Lower engine temps, speed limiter removed, rev limiter raised to safe level and 8+ HP and others to.

Looks amazing, I have the two seater 2020 XP General.

What a cute dog...he's loving that ride
Thanks You, She's a real sweetheart!
I’ve been looking at the General. I own a Ranger, and a RZR. I think the General is what I’m really looking for. Great review. Thanks

Very nice rig. Thinking about getting a 2 seat general. May I ask about how much something like yours outfitted cost.

Great rig...
You said that they are ready to go right from the factory and then did all kinds of mods;I guess they aren’t really set up to go from the factory
I guess it depends on how extreme of terrain you want to tackle.

Thanks, Its a Siezmik hard coat poly with vents. Your gonna love you general

How did you mount the Kemi Moto bag between the back seats?

West Texas Tarantulas Thanks for making the video on the bag install. What kind of dome light did you install?

Where did you order your fairling for your winch
I ordered both the synthetic winch rope and Fairlead from amazon! Sorry it took so long to reply!

Great review and video.... your engine mods..... are the differences noticeable from stock?
I've never seen a golf cart with that many lights before.
