MWO Build & Skills : Mobile Suit Thunderbolt

Exploring some less used variants and I found the Thunderbolt-5SS which has an amazing +30% range for the Medium Laser. This is.... underwhelming but it does make it different and still able to push out some damage.
On a side note, I am loving the Binary Laser Cannon a lot because it gives Inner Sphere Laservomit a boost to better match the strengths of the Clan Laservomit, something the Inner Sphere really needed (as you can see how it makes this mech more effective)

Thanks! I use GeForce Experience (a k.a. Shadowplay) to record at 1080p with a bit rate of 50 Mbps.
Then I render and export my video at 45000 kbps 60nfps at 1080p. Each video ends up about 5-6 GB.
Quite a tech noob tbh but hope that helps. 😊 - BrioS

I was on MechDB last night looking at this variant for a 7 x Med X-Pulse build. With skill and a TC should be somewhere around 400m

7 MXPL is actually pretty ok and more common on this variant but tbh I seldom see them do well due to the lower mounts combined with the need to facetime a lot. But I guess that's a personal preference thing 😉
I like the 2 high mounted RT energy hardpoints so I put high damage BLCs on them. - BrioS

​@@ClanBRxVI haven't tried the XPulse yet just 7 medium pulse. The BLC ER Med build looks cool and I have been having fun with that combo on bigger mechs so I will give it a go
