- Justin Trudeau is so desperate to talk about anything but the carbon tax on farmers that he answered questions this week by citing Christmas, Ukraine and more. It’s unbelievable!
So paying a carbon tax is going to ensure that snow still falls in Canada. That's just stupid.
That’s the mentality.
Not unless you delve into the abilities of climate control the climate. Look it up!

Don't underestimate the stupidity of the Canadian voter. The soy boy has gas lighted Canadians for 8 years and 3 elections. He thinks he is smarter than the voters- and he might be right. Harper told Canadians what would happen if they voted for the soy boy and he was right on. Many of us could see that anyway when we compared the soy boy's credentials- kicked out of that girl's high school, flunked out of engineering first-term, member of the WEF, and a trust-fund baby. The soy boy has stated that he has a learning disability and has a difficult time adding 13 and 14 together in his head. He has also stated his preference for the Chinese communist party. What more could Canadians ask for to give him a majority in 2015? Who better to lead the country than the soy boy, failed drama teacher, WEF traitor, communist, mathematics genius, and trust-fund baby? Surely, Canadian voters thought that these were ideal credentials when they voted for the soy boy and his cast of liberal clowns.
This will be the hardest Christmas in decades for many Canadian families. Thanks in large part to this inept PM and his Government.

Pierre Poilievre is not a leader. A real leader will tell you think you don't want to hear but needs to... Global warming is real, is going to be costly to everyone living on earth, and a carbon tax is the most effective policy to fight this. Canada needs to do its part, this isn't a Chinese thing.

Pierre is a lifelong politician himself. It doesn't matter if he, or anyone else takes the reigns of leadership in Canada. Our economy is broken and the national debt is too high for any one person or party to fix it.
@@Ry-ss5dz The debt isn't as much of a problem as most people think. I am not saying it isn't a problem, just that I wouldn't worry about the federal debt too much. I see it as a mortgage. Canada is a state with relatively low interest rate and a lot of industries, so it's not exactly like the mortgage of a normal person. There is some elasticity to these measures, and someone with around 40% of debt to income should be okay.
And if you look at indicator: Canada got 68.6% of debt to GDP. A bit high for a normal person, not too bad for a state.
Look at Japan: 226% of debt to GDP and been having very high debt to GDP for decades now and no direct problems due to that... Some issues due to demographics, though.
Now, debt to GDP is not a perfect indicator. For instance Argentina got 80% of debt to GDP, but there is the difference that Argentina defaulted on their debt twice (2005 and 2014), a debt swap in 2010, and a debt restructuring in 2019 all of which mines the confidence in their ability to repay... And they have difficulties refinancing their debt because of trust.
That doesn't mean we need to invest on bubble gum or anything else that is dumb. But as long as we can refinance the national mortgage, that we got people wiling to buy federal bonds, that we are not going on an insane spending spread, that most of that debt is use smartly, and we act to keep people's confidence in the finances, we should be okay on that aspect.

I think many Cdn's, and also Americans, forget the past. Other countries, and our allies, such as Estonia, Poland, Lithuania etc are very concerned while we now have some politicians and some of the public scoffing at the idea of supporting Ukraine.
Funding? There are plenty of other things to defund before cutting off an ally and a threatening situation. How much BS we fund in the UN? Foreign aid in other places, some which hate us or could care less about us? Islamic places?

You realize with efficient use of money you can feed 10 people with $20 CAD on a very strict diet and budget on something filling like say mashed potatoes or other such staple foods like baking bread or such along with simple sides or whatnot.

With volume of food, it gets cheaper the bigger you buy in bulk, so a $100 can either feed 50 people simple food, or 10 people with better quality food.
So it's a estimate of maybe 10~5 dollars per person to feed them, with bulk orders for say every 20 persons the discount is slightly higher...
So $1000 can feed 100~200 people maybe.
In that case how much budget can government workers and federal agents, give up, so that larger groups of families can enjoy even something simplistic?

Stabilize grocery prices? Yesterday when I went shopping I found prices higher than ever. This clown of a PM is totally out of touch with everyday life.
I’ve been in construction for 18 years and this is by far the slowest it has been in the fall. Not only am I bringing in less than a quarter of what I normally do. My mortgage is over $500 more a month, food is 50% more and everything else is more expensive. The liberal government is oblivious to the everyday struggle of the ordinary Canadian. We drove into town to run errands (something we can only afford do once or twice a month). I only managed to find half the items on my list. Did he just scream “On this side of the house, we stand for Christmas”… I voted this guy in for his first term- now, in my mid-twenties, living paycheque to paycheque, I’m hoping that as a country we can understand that we need more competent leadership. The economy is not great in many places but he’s driven us into the ground. Defence spending is always being cut with the increasing Russian and Chinese expansion, rent is astronomical, I could go on, unsustainable

One thing I think Pierre needs to do is to stop brow beating the idiot Drama Boy and provide a solid plan that will actually work. Doing so would absolutely crush the Drama Boy.
They know that, they just need their sound bites for the campaign trail and social media. When the Liberals are down in the polls, rather than try to improve their image and focus on what they may try to do, it is easier to boogeyman and demonize the opposition. The Liberals seem to fail to realize the opposition is there to *oppose* the government and scrutinize what is being laid forward. Trudeau commenting on anyone's climate plan that isn't in power is just delusional.
Replace the entire system. If you don’t do what you said you would do in your campaign, you don’t get paid.
