Hi Joe, I’ve been to Kimmeridge bay a couple of times but I didn’t know the facts and story behind it. It’s a beautiful place and I like the story about the nodding donkey !! Fancy it operating all those years it’s amazing.🤔 thanks for sharing.👍🏻
Hi Marilyn. I'd forgotten how lovely it is there to be honest. It is surprising about the nodding donkey. You'd think it would have been replaced with a modern more efficient pump or maybe closed down altogether.
Wow 🎉 what a lovely looking place. Thank you as always for another really nice video. I didn't get to Swanage I didn't get to Swanage yesterday. I had a seizure in the shower and ended up at home. But the wife and girls had a lovely day out. Going to try again in a couple of weeks.🤞
@@JoeCoastal yes I'm ok. Thanks for asking 👍 they are called dissociative seizures. Just due to the server depression and anxiety. It's why I couldn't do the coastal path on my bike. I had to go 3 months without a seizure and it's never happened unfortunately. Which is why I ended up selling my bike. I've had over 100 in 2 years. But aiming to try again in a couple of weeks. This is why I enjoy the videos so much. I love the coast, and if it wasn't for the videos I probably wouldn't know about most of these places. So thank you for the videos and the time and effort you put into them.👍⭐🎉
@robmains3736 Thanks Rob. I won't pretend that's the reason I make these videos but I have received comments from a number of people who for whatever reason can't get out there as they would like to and it's rewarding to know that my videos give them a taste of what they crave. I'll certainly continue. Actually I hope to increase my output over the next few months.
@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOne to be fair I'd been visiting Dorset since childhood and didn't know about Tyneham until about 15 years ago. Even then I didn't discover the beauty of Warbarrow Bay for a few more years and it's just a short walk from Tyneham.
Hi Joe hope you're well. We were planning on visiting Kimmeridge whilst on a recent 2 week holiday to Dorset, but unfortunately the weather had other ideas so we had to pack a lot in-between the rain. Interesting information especially about the tower We visited Thomas Hardy cottage (video on my channel)but wasn't aware he visited the tower. We'll definitely have to visit Kimmeridge on our next visit to Dorset as we haven't been there in a few years. Best wishes stay safe Jon
Hello mate. Nice to hear from you again. The weather has been terrible this year hasn't it. I've read quite a bit about Thomas Hardy and the things he's done. It seems he was friends with the reverend John Richard Clavell who build the tower and took his partner there for romantic weekends. Apart from that it's just a beautiful place. I'll have to look at your Hardys cottage video. We haven't actually visited it yet. Cheers Jon.
top channel .. cheers Joe.
Thank you so much.

Great to see you Joe an area I haven't explored yet great vid all the best donny
Mate it's definitely worth a visit. Make sure you see it. Nice to hear from you again.
This part of Dorset is well worth a visit. Not just for Kimmeridge Bay but Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, and of course Tyneham.
Your right of course. Lulworth and Corfe seem to be far better known than the other two though.
@@JoeCoastal Absolutely. I'm quite surprised in the case of Tyneham though.

And the charges to go to Kimmeridge are so cheap.
